Well, yesterday morning I got busy and didn't get to replace the belt tensioner assembly. I didn't give up my opportunity to get out on the bike in the afternoon... It got a little warmer than I would have liked. Gotta love that full fairing for autumn rides.

Yesterday was one of those twelve hour days... I was exhausted when I got home, grabbed a quick bit to eat and went to bed. Today was to be a day off for me but I have to go in and catch up. With one guy down and having to cover for another on vacation has me a little behind. I'll catch up with it today.

Blueeyes, as a soldier I remember the excitement a soldier gets when receiving mail. Right now are troops are confused with the hatred of the war. They need to know the hatred isn't aimed at them. That we appreciate the great job they are doing and that they are stuck in a bad situation.

OK, gang I need get out of these work clothes and get my shower in. Any gals wanna join me in the shower and sleep with me tonight. Kinda tired and would just like to snuggle up tonight...

....I am tired and maybe this souldn't have been my first place to go to as I do have others who need my certain kind of attention...

Work has been a bitch this week...a contractor who came very highly recommended showed gross incompactince...

The whip will get hung in my office Monday and future yankee's who work on my site are being warned....I am pissed about the War of Northern Agression and I will take it out on any blue-belly who screws up on my site...

...that being said, I got a gander of all the wonderful GoldWing parts delivered by Blueeyes and "the girlfriend" and I haven't a clue where they go but they sure look pretty...time for me to research eBay and see where all this stuff might tie into my relic...me thinks the Samsonite saddlebags are soon to be a distance memory...<smile>...

The leaves are the news....they have already invaded the greenish brown on the lawn....no rain and an early folage....not to mention a hot day and unusally warmer temps....maybe if we sacrefice a virgin now, the Gods will spare us....anyone know any?

I do owe you Blueeyes....if you could only sample some of Cyikac or Jaded's cooking....or a ride with Hazy's New York....he has been having way too much fun this fall....<I will be there next year at the Rondavoe so save me some tent space>...
The motor I was hoping to strip a part from suffers from the same problem my "Borderline Love" has so a new one will be needed....I will mortgage the house and get right on it...I should be able to ride right into December if last year was an indication of New York winters...

Jaded, I will seek you out to do a run in honor of NYWings friend....I am sure she will appreciate our gesture and we will have time to enjoy some looks from old timers who remember when our rides were ther envy of thier younger selves...hope you have a run that would cap an interesting year for us...

I think I will break tradition and bathe tonight...as I remember, soap will be required...hope they still print directions on the packaging...

Sweet Jesus my ass is dragging and not for a good reason... We had another guy quit today. I am happy he isn't in my department. The heat and humidity reared its ugly head so escaping to outside for lunch wasn't refreshing. I have one more day to put up with then I'm off until Tuesdays...

Got a call from the place I store my iron horse. The parking lot was crushed gravel. I received a call from the office to inform me that they were having that parking lot black topped... That they would be closed until Monday. Which is fine. I wasn't planning saddle time Monday. I'll get the things I need to get done this weekend and have my free day as Monday...

GG, PM me with the size on your tank top. The gal at the place told me palm measurements are not acceptable...

Cyikac, unfortunately my work load is gonna be rough until they find a replacement for the guy that left my department. They don't seem to be in any rush to do that. I am thinking about leaving next spring. The only reason I hang in there is that its approximate 1/4 mile from my door.

SG, I will only be to happy to make the run if I'm not working. I haven't heard about at. Perhaps we can post the date and draw a few more people interested.

Blueeyes was that offer to bath directed to either me or SG. If that comment was directed at me I can assure you that your hands will be full...

Me, I have an extra long shift today...my regular 8 to 6 (but proba;y will extend past 8) and then on to the ER for a 2am to 2 pm shift. Football on Sunday though!
Hopefully Washington can pull themselves together long enough to beat the Lions (I mean come on...they should be able to do that).

I would agree with you whole heartily about being indoors. However they have a company in the building cleaning the heating system and getting it ready for winter. So we can't turn the A/C on because the ducts that run through the building are all disassembled... So yesterday by the time I got home my shirt was drenched with sweat. Of course none of the windows open...

Now, about you working these long shifts at this time. I know your drive oh to well and it is something I respect. However, we don't need you run down again and getting sick again. I have kinda gotten used to you being around and don't want you going any where... Have a fantastic day pretty lady...

Hello to all my friends at Bikers run!
I've been busy so there's been little time for me to visit here.

SirGary... Thanks for the thought!
Here's an update about my freind.. She is doing great! She went back to work ( I guess thats a good thing) but whats real good news is she got to get out for a short fall cruise! Back seat only but that doesn't matter... the fact she was able to enjoy a good day , a good ride and good friends was a huge shot in the arm for her!. Even more good news... a used engine was found for her bike on E-Bay! . A new set of front front forks and triple trees as well as a newly laced front wheel should be arriving soon.
So for the most positive note she just might get her wish... A ride before the season is officially over!

With the high temps I have to be thankful... 20 years ago we had a huge snowstorm that brought trees down all over wires and people were out of electric for a week!

I got hit with some lightning myself and lost a couple tv's but I try not to watch them anyway. Blew my router and computer modem so I was offline for some time.
Tomorrow I'm going to try to drop the remaining 70 foot Pine without taking the corner of my house down. The tree was hit about 15 to 20 feet below its top splintering 4 feet of the trunk and putting the top of it on the ground. Traveling down the trunk it split the tree in three sections for another 20 to 30 feet better than any log splitter ever could. the final exit for all that energy was a large hole blown in the side of the trunk where the bolt of energy burned a hole in my portable garage shelter and then found its way into my house through the cable line. If you even heard a loud thunder clap right after you see the lightning strike mutiply that by 10. The light was bright enought to light up my house and the sound almost knocked me off the couch. For a few seconds your hair stands up and then you smell that lingering ozone. I did what any normal person would do... Ran to the garage to be sure my babies were okay. Both were doing well sleeping happily under their covers.
