Biker's Run..........................

What a glorious weekend, perfect weather for a bike ride, too bad I don't own one, or have anyone I could ride with. So instead, Tony and I wen to Jim Thorpe for their fall foliage weekend. What a beautiful quaint little town. Right on the river, with trains running up and down the mountain. Cute little shops everywhere to explore, lunch outside on the sidewalk, watching everyone go to and fro.

And then of course the night in the hotel.....

Good morning, everyone... :D

It's Monday and the start of another work week. Today is my day off. I do have a noon appointment to look at a new apartment that is much larger than were I live now. Then my afternoon is free. Time to get the bike out and go for a ride. Been a long time and very needed. Have a super lot on my mind and need to do some think'n. Mounted on a iron horse is the best place to do it. With the wind in your face it just seems to be the best time to do it. Gotta regain my direction.

Sassy it was great chatting last night...

Want to wish everyone a super great Monday... :D

Catcha ya all later... :)

Good morning, everyone... :)

This New England weather is very unpredictable. I guess we have a warm up coming... Unfortunately I will be working.... :(

Well, I did get out yesterday afternoon. Took one of my favorite routes. I went up route 7 to the mass. border. The foliage change is very evident. I stopped at Kent Falls State park and just relaxed for a while. Taking in the kaleidoscope of colors and the gentle roar of the falls. There are a lot more leafs on the ground north of me. You can even smell fall in the air with the wood burning stoves. Gave me time to straighten out my head a bit... :D I hope this weekend is going to be nice so I can get out again... :)

Want to wish everyone a great Tuesday... :D Catcha ya all later... :)

Good Morning all.

Sorry I haven't been around alot, but nothing new here. Just working both on and off the bike! Finished the last class of the season this past weekend.

Be careful out there gang in those lovely fall colors,,,, as they land on the pavement and get wet, they get very slippery!!! Watch those curves!!! (not the ones on the seat behind you!!!) ;)

Enjoy your day all.

^5's to the guys,
:rose:'s to the ladies.

There you go again...making me miss the northeast. Guess I need an incentive to move north...any ideas, though I can think of 1 or 2 that might work ( ).

I am going to post this evening some info regarding cabins in the Poconos area...looked at places on a lake cause don;t know about you all, but I love bonfires at night at the edge of a lake...

And as KW pointed put...the leaves are bad, but so are the drivers who are staring at said leaves instead of looking out for those of us who have to share the road.

Please ride safe....we want to see you in the Poconos this spring... :)

Women are great at everything....<turns head and dares any man here to argue with me>...that is why you men keep hanging around us.

Good morning, girls and boys.... :)

This actually looks like it is going to be a light week for me work days wise... :) I have a couple of chores to accomplish this morning then it is going to be a bike afternoon. No direction picked. Where ever the wind blows me... ;)

KnightWing, good to see you again on the thread.

Now lady's I don't know but I seem to see a lot of jaw jacking here... I cook and clean up after...! I drink Budweiser (ice cold) and Jack Daniel's (shooters)... ;) I will be served by you gals stark naked wearing only a smile. Oh and don't make any immediate plans to leave after I have been served. We'll both be busy for a while. It's one of those win/win situation...

I want to wish one and all a super hump day... :D

Gee...and here I thought the derigeur costume for you menfolk at this soiree was gonna be g-strings and bowties as you serve us gals  ....don;t mind Budweiser but I am a Blue Moon girl.

I've become a bit of a wine head lately. But if I have to drink beer, I'll take Pabst...yes that says Pabst. Prefer a nice margarita on the rocks.

This is the website I found that lists many of the renatls, including a map of the area. The size of the place depends on how many plan to attend and who they bring.

http://www.greatrentals.com/USA/Pennsylvania/Poconos/r275.htm

Here's a sample that looked good to me... http://www.greatrentals.com/USA/Pen...use-Big-Bass-Lake/dni/1/p100092.htm#unitRates

Again the possible dates are May 15/16 to 18 and May 29/30 to June 1. The inbetween weekend is Memorial Day.

So take a gander at the website and your calendars.

Have a great day....and ride safe.

Good Morning all,

Anything works for me Ms. Cyikac, as far as accomodations go. I'll go with what ever everyone else likes.

Either date also works at this time. I know I'll have classes on those weekends, but will take the one off we chose to meet on.

Got a nice ride in after work last night, as the temps were in the upper 60's and the sun was still out. Colors are still light as we have not had a killing frost yet. Lots more purples/reds this year because of it.

Raining today, but we need it.

Have a great day everyone.
