I cant explain why i like them. I just do, im simply attracted to them. Is there a reason for it? im sure, i dont know what it is. They're not the only thing i look at, to be sure, but they are definitly one of the first. I've tended towards large woman with big breasts all my life. I have little doubt that this was because my mother was a chunky woman with large breasts (very shapely, but definitely built thickly).

However, having married the Babe when she was a very big girl, she's since had GBS and dropped 172 pounds. She's a size 6 and built ENTIRELY differently. And her breasts are fairly small now, too. Thus it is when you try to symbolize both physical strength and femininity - there's probobly a literary version of it, but it's a very basic and central issue in fantasy art, i.e., trying to find that acceptable balance.

Drawing attractive women is very challenging, especially faces. Large breasts can be used as a crutch to make female characters look more feminine and sexual.

If you're going to draw small chested women with short hair, you're going to have to do an excellent job of giving them feminine facial features, which can be very hard to do, especially depending on drawing style and level of detail.

As for the men's obsession with breasts discussion... why are we physically attracted to anything? Mostly biology, and a little cultural conditioning. As others have said, there are men who prefer huge breasts, to the point they think every woman needs implants. There's a group of tiny tit lovers, although most of them are the type that like very skinny women. There are a lot of men that are thrilled to get to enjoy ANY set of tits.

Which Breasts are best

Well I actually just rescently had a girlfriend with F size breasts...and a curvy body they looked fine on...I was working with an attractive woman on a documentry film...thought she was very lovely and think she was Bcup.

You love the woman not her cleavage and liking someone just for a body type limits you terriably.

The writing spoken of in the first post disgusts me...Not because I am a prude, but because it reads like a porn script. Put a huge breasted woman near a man hung like a horse and go...not background, no story, and little setting. I have no problem with people making their characters "attractive," but come on few men or women are actually like those people come up with...

Well basically, I can't see holding a thing like that that's just physical trait you can't do anything about - genetic destiny - against someone, but a lot of men comment about things like that in same sense and tone as you would criticize a substantial character flaw, which just seems kind of childish.

Course women do the same thing about short men, bald men, poor men, etc., sexual selection at work I suppose, but it's still shallow.

Noses are another one, I love those long, curvacous Semetic Streisand noses, the people that made it an issue, and induced all those women to go under the knife to get one of these perky, boring little noses are going straight to hell.

I didn't really think it was that bad, I mean, why single turner out, everybody draws them that way.

I think if anything, he was trying to staddle the line: take away the breasts and you have a classic masculine mesomorphic v-shape, with some pretty buff shoulders and arms - trying to please feminists and people who take their superheros seriously, then a ridiculously tiny waist, huge tits and porn face, and you essentially have a woman designed by a commitee - which everybody happened to hate.

I can sympathize though, I've gone through more morphological variations than actually exist in reality and that's a lot - and I learned one single thing: you just can't please everybody.

Sometimes I use actual pornstars for model types - Jana Cova has almost perfect proportions insofar as the comics ideal goes, classic, curvey, whitebread blonde, though I kind of prefer Susanna Spears (leeeeegssss) or Annetta Keys from a strictly aesthetic viewpoint - but neither one has tit's big enough for comics geeks. Crissy Moran has fabulous pelvic structure, but her breasts hang at a very strange angle.

Catalina Cruz's abs are always good for causing serious consternation, she has very cut abdominals for a woman, but sexy, not at all masculine, to me anyway - she's an excellent model for studying torso anatomy.
