No, the accident was close to Long Beach, and I'm in SD. That was quite horrible from the pictures I've seen.

It took ten years and home only on weekends.
Even then, the opportunity was a surprise.
I had actually quit and this is "what it took" to make me stay.
Amazing the power of freedom to quit.

Glad to hear you're feeling chipper. My day was uneventful, which I consider to be a very good thing. More often than not an eventful day at work means bad news here.

Thanks on the AV, I didn't think it would make such an impression. I'm actually awaiting arrival of a cam I ordered, so once I figure out how to work the darn thing I may actually put up a real picture of me. The pupmkin probably left some people wondering what I turn into at midnight, especially since I generally don't post in the evening.

Actually, I don't turn into anything at night. My home PC died, so I can't get onto the net, though we have now acquired a laptop in the office which I may take home from time to time.
