Oz - the piercings are not about "fun in the sack" - though I'm sure, from what I'm told, they can add a bit of fun there. My reasons for getting them are pretty well spelled out in my thread. And yes, it is already worth it. The pain is lessening...and sometimes the rings swinging give a completely new feeling that's very cool. And when the pain IS there, it reminds me that the rings are there and, more importantly, WHY they're there. And THAT is worth it.....

As for me being honest about what's going on, pain-wise....first of all, honesty always works better than lies, in the long run (it's easier to remember too). And I'm honest in telling people about my experience....I've found already that it's helped one person in particular decide if she wanted it done or not. So, when people ask, I tell them the plain, unvarnished truth about what's going on, good and bad.

So chuckle, if you must. Doesn't bother me. It's always easier to laugh rather than ask questions or attempt to understand...it's just much less informative.

Fair enough Nige. I always intended those chuckles (oh and the rest of the L acronyms too) to be sympathetic in nature. Maybe take you mind off of the pain a bit. I read the rest and have been informed. The laughs were "also" not "instead"

As Missy told you, it's finally raining in the central valley. Hooray for those of us who have livestock. It hasn't rained in Butte County , not one drop, since May. We usually have about 2 inches between July and now. It has been tough.

Greeneyes, you will find as you grow older that it never changes either. Emotions are a thousand times more difficult than any exam you could ever take. Give me a science test (any branch) or a math test and I'll probably Ace it with a few days study time. BUT give me someone's emotions (definitely including my own) and I'll probably flunk out.

Bolero was popular with my group at college and several of us tried it out on our dates (not together, just in pairs). For me at that age, lasting 17 minutes was quite a feat. LOL.

Reminds me of the movie "Hudson Hawke" the character knew just how long every popular song lasted. All his songs were 3 minutes or less though.

Actually already own one Orwell. It does a great job too. I can run the entire house on it, including the 220volt appliances, the well, spa and oven.

But it's unconditioned power and I won't run the PC's on it. It's not worth the risk.
