Nice to see you. Didn't realize you were in chicago on April 1st, that was the day I flew out of chicago to Las Vegas. That picture you took on Sears tower looks really familiar. I used to walk along Jackson Blvd across the building to my school (which was 2 blocks away from Sears tower).
Regarding scanning slides to PC, I used a film/slide scanner. it took the film negative or slides directly scanned into a jpeg or bmp file. Its quality usually itsn't as good as digital cam, and the size is usually bigger comparing with similar pics from digital cam. However, that is the only way I can use my old cameras and lenses to take pics that cant' with my digital cam.

How is everybody doing in the weekend? It is going to be wet and cold here..... oh well, I would just stay at home and start blowing up planes and tanks (virtually).

erc, you sound like a real techie with your slides. I'm a picture junkie, so look forward to your posts. Ya know, I hadn't even noticed that you were from Chicago. It was FUHREEEEZING that day. We walked from Union Square to the Singapore Airlines office that day. Can't remember the names of the streets anymore. I think I could like Chicago very much. And as RH mentioned, the deep dish pizza is ahhh so fine. Course, I'd have to have mine made with that soy cheese AFM is going to hand deliver to my house
