Wish you all have a great weekend. Mine is not too bad, just came back from the movie theatre. The movie I watched was the italian job. It is a nice entertaining movie and I love the part of making fun about the LA traffic.

i've heard good things about the italian job as well... i went to see T3 yesterday... it was really really good, i had a huge crush on claire danes in high school... lol the guy who played john connor was kind of weird... i wonder why they didn't use eddie furlong again? the movie had a lot of bits of dry humour in it though, definitely worth seeing..

AFM, i checked that out the first time, the stuff people think of when they've got too much time on their hands... lol very clever

Bugga, I think I read too much about film critiques.... almost 100% of the critiques gave T3 a thumb down....Wall Street Journal called that a super budget B-movie that made me reserved a little. But I will still go watch it. I am a terminator fan since the first movie came out around 1985... If I remember right. I still remember that my schoolmates used to always try to laugh with the quote "Aauw Bee Baaaek"

For those of you who don't know, The Italian Job is a remake of a classic english film made in the 70's. Can't remember much about it anymore though...

I didn't realise T3 was out already? I wasn't really expecting much except furthur hammed up performances from Arnie anyway so I guess I won't be disappointed

I'm tempted to go watch Charlie's Angels just to oogle at the women, but my friends told me its pretty awful so I'm still wrestling with my libido on that call....what should I do?

oooh don't knock the Ahhnold-man! He does a GREAT job in this one, it'll make you laugh (intentionally too). i personally loved the first two Terminators so this one was a real treat. Ahnold doesn't look a day older.

AFM: see T3, skip the Charlie's Angels. wait for it to hit DVD, then ogle at the special features. that's my plan : )

Going to play again tonight though....actually I'm a beginner since I only learnt to play the game recently, and the guys I played with are not too bad, so its very much of a learning curve for me!

Although I did get a huge win which mean't that I didn't lose too many points

Thanks for the welcome to erc25, Frankly Flowers, MercyMia and of course Gusty Wind! Talking the day off (or rather ordered to take a day off by my doc) but hopefully will go back to work. What can I say in my office there are 12 to 14 men and only 2 women, they all have handcuffs too :}

Mahjong...ah haven't played that in awhile...probably forgot how too, lol. Enjoy and until next time (probably this weekend if the bf don't hog the computer)....

I am like AFM with the tones and accents, I even unconsciously pick up the accents of people I am talking with, hence Mandarin came much easier to me (was a big time Choir boy once ) and yes, learning the characters is a bitch.. and retaining them in your memory even worse... I am pretty illiterate for a fluent speaker here, as I haven't formally studied Chinese in 20 odd years.
