....Interesting with the taking on of human memories. Makes it easier to learn skills, perhaps too easy? I mean, taking on vampire memories was interesting, but hard as there were few vampire NPCs that were easilly taken out. This makes it really weird, after a while, wouldn't all vampires go insane? Especially with all those histories in their heads?

Due to the horrible things that happened in his youth, Vladamir exists in a state as close to insanity as he can. He switches between being your best friend one minute and your worst enemy the next.)

OK, since it looks like no one is bitching too much about the powers I listed, I'm going to be doing my best to keep them within a reasonable level while I'm in the thread, and I'll be monitoring this thread while we write just in case anyone needs me to back off or push harder, whatever the case may be.

Well I don't argue both sides of a point, it's self-defeating.

And hey, I don't notice anyone else making vampires all that interested in hiding themselves anymore. First thread, we always hid the bodies. Since then, we've been killing things right and left, leaving them in the open. Besides, slobbiness is normal in the US, where Vlad happens to be. We all can't jet off to Belgium.

And I don't beleive I said Mongrel was a vampire.

I called him a 'character named Mongrel', and said I was looking for information about him. Never said what he was. Just said that where I was had signs of infestation. And since the thread is about vampires, I thought it would be logical if the henchmen were. AT least, all the ones I've seen so far have been.

I'm simply saying, just because he has vampires working for him, don't assume he'll leave blood stains everywhere he goes.

I do agree with you though. I hate the way bodies are piling up here. I mean, I know we don't care anymore, because most of us are vampires, but if we want to keep this semi-real, people are going to start asking questions really fast.
GM and his western united states thing made sense, because in that scenario humans knew of vampires. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing.
A good thing it could add another level. Vampires not only having to deal with everyone else, but on top of it, humans fighting against them as well.
But the bad thing is that they'll start sending squads or whatever after us, and this will turn into a humans against vampires war right before our eyes.
Perhaps we should hear some other opinions, have everyone add their input whether we should acknowledge that humans know of vampires. (I mean most humans, not a select few who have suspicions) Or do we make some sort of guideline to cut down all of the blatant disregard for a realistic edge to this thing.

GM I never said LEAVE! and you know that too! How many times have I given you a hard time about something and you've done the same? There was nothing wrong with your damned post, other than the sniffing thing. And i certainly did not intend for you to leave because we butted heads lol we've done that since DAY ONE! Now stop that.

As for half the world destroyed, the only reason I didn't ok it was because as pooh pointed out, then the world would know there are vampires. And we have been writing NO ONE knows but a few here and there. If we want to change it and everyone agrees, then it is fine with me. I dont mind the 'war' that kept Joseph busy destroyed half the USA. We hinted at it, never gave much detail to it, but we can. Just need some input from others. Of course I do think it is realistic Pooh for the human's still being deathly afraid of vampires. There will be a few 'do gooders' with intentions of killing them but I don't think many would be up in arms. Just more protected (as they possibly can be) what do you think?

Being deathly afraid is the very same reason I think we'll have a clash of humans versus vampires.

Regular humans would be afraid, I agree to that. But I'm talking about governments. Navy Seals and Nato and all the world leaders who won't stand having their citizens afraid to go to the store in fear of getting eaten.
They will be afraid. And fear will cause them to set up military action to see fit that this threat to the American way of life will be destroyed.
Can we say McArtherism all over again?
That's just good publicity. The kind that gets leaders re-elected.
