Well I know that Lance can't die,. but does Vlad? No. In fact, I'm sure Vlad will be doing a lot of double-taking, if this ludicrously overdraw battle ever ends.

Sorry to cut in ont he bantering folks but Vandal darlin, just to give you a heads up it's considered RUDE to use someones character as a reference without asking them. I didn't even catch that you dropped my name as an owner of the house until it was pointed out to me. See by doing that now I have to change my plans..............if ANYONE is going to use someone elses character please ask permission. Sweetp I'm surprised you didn't catch that. Your slipping baby. Vandal I'm not picking on you but I wanted to point that out before anyone else gets ideas....................sweet-p, ray , GM , and Pooh will all tell you we tend to get a bit territorial about our characters. Especially Caterina..........she's special to me. Besides she never owned any of her residences in her own name.,,,lol. Also her house wasn't a house it was a mansion and it wasn't in that neighborhood it was in Old Orleans around bourbon street.

Yeah, I hate to burst everyone's bubble too, but John Smith doesn't own the house across the way from Aria's.
His father does.
I made it clear in the first two posts of The Family, that it was his father's house, and he was just living there (as sons tend to live in their father's houses).
And... unless Vandal knows so much about John that he knows Johns Father's name happens to be the same, (which is a lot more than I know, and I created the character) it should be changed.
I don't mind people referencing other characters, with or without permission. I mean, how else are we going to know things unless people talk about everyone else, but information like real estate records and stuff, you should really ask.
Send a pm or an email, asking... "Hey, if I had some of my cronies send a check through a house, what would they get back?" Then we can give you answer. Maybe it'll help you, maybe it'll be useless, but at least then we aren't throwing around a lot of assumptions which have to be altered later.
The way I see it, that information was pretty useless anyway.

We're talking about vampires. I don't think any vampire who lived over a hundred years would put anything in their own name anymore. It would be too suspicious, to have someone own something for a hundred years, and still live on the premises and pay taxes and such? People will talk, people do talk.
Would we get back any info if we ran Gumo through a regular ? search? Honestly? Would we get airline information? Old houses? Fortunes and such? Maybe, maybe not, but I'm not going to assume anything, because it's your character, and your right if he wants to be open about such things, or more secluded.

Before I post for Christian, I wanted ot know something. Is the connection between Ray and Aria related to the rings, or based on thier past. I figured if it was Ring-related, I'd toss a few quick references to what Aria went through in my post (would seem unnatural not to) and if not, I'd just continue on with what transpires between him and AB.
Once that's done, I think I'll send him out into the night again, the ring might lead him to Ray and Kat (Cat?), younever know...
