Well, I'm now at 7600 words and flowing. In the middle of a voyueristic "dreaming of watching lesbian sex beween my dead wife and my anthro-cat lover" scene. THERE is a phrase that I would never have dreamed of writing before this morning.

Still have another anal scene to add, because turnabout is fair play. Not sure where else it goes before the HEA.

how to invent a fresh version of anal (or is it fresh enough to reverse the genders, one of which is an anthro-cat FFS?),
then a transition to HEA,
or add another entire sex scene?
If so, what? I sense one more would round things out better, but no sense WHAT it could be.
Maybe more "should be" rather than "could be".
I know lots of kinks, have written more than a few, but which fits here, if any?

It's always possible to lean into the pregnancy kink without confirming whether it took or not. I think for some people not knowing for sure might even make it hotter.

I always thought rear-entry anal was very cliche. Better to have it face-to-face, missionary style, assuming the recipient is limber enough.

That way they can be face to face, either in a lovey-dovey sense, or in a "take that, bitch!" sense. There's also opportunity for kissing and/or biting.

Depending on the established talents of the cat-character's tail, you can use that. If not for penetration, for fondling, or for holding on tight.

Got distracted this morning, and so far, no writing. will see whether have the stamina and focus necessary. If not, tmorrow.
Yesterday, I pounded away. Added almost exactly 1000 words, finishing the voyueristic "dreaming of watching lesbian sex beween my dead wife and my anthro-cat lover" scene. Transitioned with the anthro-cat returning to the home (she strayed agin last night).

Ready to launch into the anal scene. Carney's post has helped me pcture how that may play out.

That leaves the question of whether or not to as another sex scene on top of this. Right now, I'm agnostic on the subject. Jave a vague feeling one more scene might round out the "shape" of the story better, but can't place why I feel that way. Am already past the two page cutoff, and not likely to get past the third page, so length may not matter. So far have about four to six sex scenes, depending how you divide them. Tab A in slot B. Foot (paw) fetish leaing to kittie cunnilingus. Tail into male anal. Lesbian ovelapping with male masturbation. Male into Anthro-cat anal coming next.

Just seems like the anal is an uncomfortable way to transition to HEA.

Open to comments and ideas. I'm pretty flexible, as the whole dream sequence surprise illustrates.

I think that scene will pretty much write itself once I get going again.

• actually just end it there
• add a wrap up, almost an epilogue, highlighting the HEA, in spite of narrator having to navigate the unique challenges of loving a straying anthro-cat (yet another phrase I never imagined typing)
• add another sex scene, and then see if I need a wrap up after it or not.

Seemed like a convenient place to pause and regroup.
Also invite input.

It is good to at least partially wrap up any dangling plot threads before the end.

In my experience, the most satisfying stories resolve at least one main piece of drama, but always leave at least a smaller piece of drama unresolved, thus allowing possibly a sequel, but at the very least, a chance for the story to live on in the reader's imagination.

Also, are any Lit characters ever cured of a tendency to stray?

I actully have solved the "tendency to stray", but then I started out writing LW stories. So , no shock, the MC has learnned to accept that she will come and go. He even has installed a cat door.

It's the HEA that I want to have the right balance on.

That and the right number of "beats". That's where I'm wondering about adding noter sex scene. This work has plenty of sex, but also a fair amount of reflection and romance.
