Not always the case. Depends on where you are and the time of day. Many places are just like you suggest but others … can be different.

Not quite as expensive but reminds me of the story my sister in law told. She was doing her usual household stuff when she heard sirens. She didn’t think anything of it but they got louder and louder until the entire fire department pulled up in front of the house. Seeing the guys running up to the house naturally freaked her out and she let them in. They checked the entire house and found nothing. When she asked what was going on the firemen replied that they had gotten a 911 call from the house. Some quick detective work followed and they sat down a very guilty looking little boy (my nephew). After scolding him they asked why he called 911. Very tearfully he looked at them and said “I wanted to talk to a fireman.”

i would want to know...i feel like this is probably about a female, but i think if you are friendly and polite and simply mention that you enjoy their interactions and you'd like to talk more then it is on them and you at least know...
 
We would go to strip clubs for bachelor parties and my other sister-in-law would tag along as one of the guys. She always had a blast because she could go to the ladies room where the strippers would also go between sets and she'd come back with great dirt.
