Comments That Make Your Day

My first foreign language comment, which I'm impressed by because someone's taken the effort to read Last Christmas despite English not being their first language or easy for them to write in. And I was also chuffed I could decide the second and third words:
Удивительная история! Браво!

(Amazing story! Bravo!)

It wouldn't be an easy read for anyone not fluent in English: as @AlexFourways said, 'Took me a while to read, as it is so tightly written that you can't (well, I can't) race through it without losing the blend of pathos, love and raunchy sex.'

Some lovely comments on my new story, The Opposite of Jealousy...

@Eosphorus' comments always leave me feeling warm and gooey!

@Prettylynne left me my favorite kind of comment in the whole world🤩

@NudistJayByrd wants to hang out some time 😍

I really enjoy your work. It has inspired me to push myself harder to do better in my own stories.

A couple of days ago I got this comment on my Christmas story, A Gift She Wasn’t Expecting
This was equal parts sweet and hot, and your writing is excellent! I’m not ace, but I am autistic and I’ve never read anything I related to as much as this. I spent years looking for answers with the wrong people before I finally found the right one, and I loved the resolution and relief you gave Hope.
This was exactly what I wanted from the story, and it touched me that someone connected to it beyond ‘I loved it.’

A beautiful comment on my 'Memories of Sandy' (in T/I but without Mom sitting on Son's lap, @iwatchus !)

LoveIsGood
Some stories tell of the difficulties of real life, and even though there is testimony to the satisfying goodness that comes with carrying on in spite of the pain, I miss the joyful delight of happy endings. But I recognize, and cherish, the works that tell the aching stories well. Thank you. sigh

These came in while I was at work. Was nice to see when I logged on

The first is on Masked, a 750 word essay I wrote based on a dream and a writing exercise from the AH. (Also, the repeated "pleasure" makes my eye twitch, but I'm not submitting an edit for one word...)

The second is on I Love You, a letter I wrote to my friends. I honestly don't even know why I have comments and votes turned on for this one. Its only purpose is to exist so that if I die, my friends might come across it and see what they meant to me.
