I'll be real, I was kinda holding my breath on this one. I did a lot of very different things for Her Forest Bloom: first time venturing outside the normal non-human categories, high amount of sappiness, flowerier prose than normal, first transformation story here, first trans character, first serious non-sex story here. Honestly wasn't sure how it would go. Got kinda smacked ratings-wise toward the latter half of the day, but damn... Not gonna lie, I got all the warm fuzzies and the relief that I didn't so horribly botch it that everyone hated it And kinda choked up a bit, which... I don't do often.

It's a nice reminder about what an honor and privilege it is to write something that makes somebody feel something. Truly, it is humbling.

That's excessive. The updates almost always happen on the hour, so you only need to refresh once an hour, at say 7.02, or maybe a second time at 7.05 in case it's one of those draggy updates. Of course that averages the same thing, but it feels a touch less obsessive. I find.

I was hella nervous about this story for a multitude of reasons, but it's moments like this that makes all the anxiety and nerves worth it.

The greatest comments I can think to get are, and I'm paraphrasing, "Well, now kinda I'm curious about this non-human nonsense."
