I'll be real, I was kinda holding my breath on this one. I did a lot of very different things for Her Forest Bloom: first time venturing outside the normal non-human categories, high amount of sappiness, flowerier prose than normal, first transformation story here, first trans character, first serious non-sex story here. Honestly wasn't sure how it would go. Got kinda smacked ratings-wise toward the latter half of the day, but damn... Not gonna lie, I got all the warm fuzzies and the relief that I didn't so horribly botch it that everyone hated it And kinda choked up a bit, which... I don't do often.

It's a nice reminder about what an honor and privilege it is to write something that makes somebody feel something. Truly, it is humbling.
