Comments That Make Your Day

I agree with the comment 100%. I'd say 110% or 125%, but such things don't actually exist, and those responses piss me off in sports or any other hoopla about how hard a person works. Do you know what happens when you run a motor at 110%? It burns out. You know what happens when you run the motor 125%? Nothing, it doesn't run at it because it burned out at 110%. Sorry, that person was right about your talent. :)
This comment was nothing spectacular, but it was on the last chapter of my oldest series, and I was glad to get it. I always love to see people checking out my older stuff and liking it 🥰

But you can mark up prices by 110%.

That's so sweet! 🥰
I've only read a little of your work, but I really enjoyed "She's a Bully".

It's quite a bit different from what I normally like, but I thought it was really well written.

I just looked back at it, and realized I never left a comment, but I remedied that! 😉

I'm terrible about making comments. I shouldn't be so stingy with my praise. I've read several of yours all are wonderfully written.

Just received this from a fellow writer, "Brought a tear to me eye." (Bonus if you know what Star Trek Character said this extra points if you tell me the movie cause its slipped my mind)

While I love femdom, I tend to shy away from stories about particularly weak or effeminate men. That said, I really liked the power dynamic between the two. (I read this story months ago; I just forgot to comment until now) hehe

Some nice comments yesterday: (y)

Hoist on his own petard. 😆 People who play practical jokes sometimes get it back in spades. Nice story BardnotBard

Liked the twist and humour. Short. Sweet. To the point.

Ooh that was inventively funny clever and wicked. Loved it BardnotBard

Whenever I get a "This was entirely different and original."

Yes, many of my stories are neither, but I do try to write outside the box on some stories.

I know this thread is for positive comments, and this one isn't so much... But it basically left me flummoxed.

I'm not sure I even understand. Who the heck was evil? The characters? Maybe... depending on your viewpoint, I guess. The story? I wouldn't agree, but who knows?

Or is it one of those things where we say "Wicked" when something is cool? I'm super curious.

Perhaps in this case it was a synonym for devious. Deliciously evil revenge scheme.

Wicked confusing comment!

The MFC in my Reclaiming Sofia was a young woman who, like many, worried about her weight. I thought I had made it clear that she wasn't overweight, not by any means, that she ate well, exercised regularly and the men she worked with all thought she was very attractive. Unusually for me, I mentioned her height and weight. All of this was just in passing, with no great stress - more just an introduction to her character.

Today I received a polite but quite detailed comment explaining Body Mass Index and why Sofia was by no means overweight. OK, Mr or Ms Anon was polite and didn't go into any extremes, but, um, wow.

I considered that. But there were a few readers who objected to firearms even being featured in the story (in spite of their necessity within the plot). So I'm honestly unsure

I've gotten several very nice comments on my newest story, In Plane View, over the past 24 hours, but wanted to thank @joy_of_cooking for this one in particular.

The fact that they enjoyed it despite it not being in their usual wheelhouse is a great compliment.

Thank you.

Nice job finding motivations for these characters that made sense to me. Often that's what I'm miss when I read fetishes in not personally into.

Little disappointed that he did ask her out at the end. Sure, men and women can be just friends, but right after sex seems a little more suspect.

Wonderfully mapped scenario to this tragic yet hopeful tale. Nice to see a mistreated woman take her turn in one of these revenge-for-adultery plays.

I was told that Burn the Bastard takes were less common, and I was happy to present one.
