My first of what will likely be a lot of questions.... Is it unusual for a Daddy to interact with the littles on the threads? Not in his role as a Daddy, but rather just banter or partaking in coloring in the pillowforts? The question was posed to me and made me curious....

So, if there's something I want, and someone else is getting it... And I'm not ...
That lack of fulfillment drives me to crazy jealousness....
And I'd say, if my Daddy was giving someone else attention and not me I'd feel a real way about it...
I think it'd cause problems for me.... So I dunno. It's a fine line there because I also like to flirt and I know I flirt hard when I'm interested compared to just flirting to be interactive when I'm less interested....

It totally depends on the interaction.
We have had Daddies without littles bringing in trays of hot chocolate etc into the blanket forts for all littles, maybe even making the forts - I don't think anyone opposes that.
Usually they have basically disappeared from active discussions after finding their own little. And that seems like they have their priorities straight. Though many times comments from experienced Daddies could be so beneficial, regardless of their status.

Also sometimes it may be possible to act like an "uncle". Not thinking there's a dynamic, but offering some support to a little that's not yours and has no Daddy - if they agree. Basically on a friendship basis.

Everything @Strixaluco said. I'd only add that no names like "little one" or "baby girl" should be used to people you don't know or have that type of relationship with. But, chatting and being friendly in the forums is quite okay.
Oh, and hugs. That can be questionable. Some people don't mind, and then there's people like me. Hugs without knowing me as a friend aren't welcome - but, others don't mind.
