I work for the state, but it’s in a county owned building that’s about 6 months older than I am. It has all the appeal of a cinder block.

Even the little side in me approves. I think it's at least some 80-90 years old, but could be older.

I love the idea of working in an old house. Didn't even know it's this old before now - had just seen the shape in the map.

Bowling with adults Friday night, laundry, dishes, and cleaning yesterday,

Shit, shit, SHIT! My mom came by this evening. She knew that I had finished painting our private bathroom and asked to see it.
I know better than to let her see our bedroom without me or Wolfie doing a quick walk around. When we were leaving the room she spied a basket in a corner. It was our shibari ropes!
I quickly covered by telling her that I was thinking about making some tie-backs for our drapes.
I’m not sure she bought it.

I’m going to have to tell her that I changed my mind about the color. Those ropes don’t match the drapes!
