Dear Little Furball,

I adore you. You wait for me at the door, you nap on my lap in the evenings, but please, please, give me some space! We share a king sized bed and still, last night you insisted on sleeping on my legs or next to me with your head on my back, tummy or tush. A 72 inch wide bed, a small terrier weighing only 24 pounds and I get confined to 18 inches of mattress! You better learn to move over.

Your loving mama...

P.S. I wouldn't trade you for the world

Dear X,

I am trying to wrap my brain around it all. Between the GB and all the police reports it is difficult to gain an unbiased perspective on what took place. I appreciate the e-mail. It is nice to get your side of the story. I didn't ask for it but it helps.

I continue to struggle with what to believe. I I know what you have explained and I know what I have read an seen on the Internet. I can appreciate you admitting to certain things and can also appreciate you saying the media outlets and police department fabricated an sensationalized a ton as well.

It is very difficult for me to read between the lines. Of course you are going to claim unknowing innocence. Wouldn't everyone whether guilty or not? If you are as you say then that is such a tough position to be in. Especially in light of what has happened at Penn St. Syracuse and other educational institutions.

I want to believe you. I really do. I am just finding it very difficult to do so. Something doesn't add up. Something doesn't make sense. It isn't my place to pass judgement as I stated I am just tryin to wrap my head around it all.

Dear eX,

I will answer most questions on that form, but there's no way I'm going to fill in the ones requesting my plans for co-habiting, as it's not really relevant to either you or the courts. You would be the last person I would tell anyway.

Dear Parents,

You know I love you dearly. I know that while you would normally be quite right in saying that it's too soon, this time I firmly believe that it isn't.

If I remember correctly from what you told me, you married after not much more than twelve weeks of knowing each other, so we would very much appreciate it if you would accept and support our wishes - not that I've actually told you yet - of the start of something magical and perfect.

And maybe in the future, if you're lucky, you'll get one or two gifts in return.

Dear Grandad,

I have your name as our first choice, just in case. I really hope you'll stick around long enough to meet them. I never mentioned it but I love you dearly. You're a strong man and I hope you'll keep fighting the good fight. I'm sorely going to miss you otherwise.

Dear Police officer that waved me down,

I appreciate you kindly waving at me, and giving me a kind, gentle warning: "Remember that stop sign."

I smiled warmly, felt my cheeks warm and told you. "Ohhh, yes I will."

I must confess, as I looked at you, my mind went blank for a moment, and the thoughts in my head probably should have had me in the backseat of your car instead of the guy in the orange jumpsuit.

I also must confess, I didn't even know there was a stop sign for me to remember, but I will next time - maybe, I hope.

Thanks again for the wave, the smile, the erotic thoughts, and the verbal warning, now do you mind swinging over here tomorrow reprimand me properly with your cuffs, and my headboard?

Yours,

Red

So, unless I'm totally stupid (quite possible but stick with me), you're either getting married, moving in or having kids, or all of em? Congratulations and best of luck.

But remember not to play Arnold Layne to em too often; they might get freaked out :D

Dear boss

Nice of you to acknowledge I've worked my left bollock off lately, but, err, take the pressure back now eh? I'm ready to drop ;)

We'll see what happens, but you never know ;)

Oh, and as for Arnold Layne, that song will be the least of their worries! :D

Oops, sorry - best not watch the film then

Still, that Geldof's a looker I hear...

dear window washer,

i realize that you are among a fraternity of souls who feel comfortable telling complete strangers the intimate details of your personal life, but i am not interested in knowing that your girlfriend's ex is stalking her. i do not wish to know that said ex-boyfriend has been harassing your girlfriend via the phone, or that he came to your home this weekend and vandalized your property. the fact that i did not engage you in conversation should have been your sign. i do not feel sorry for you or your girlfriend and think that instead of going around telling the city about your woes, you should stop and ask yourself why this ex-boyfriend is all up in your business the way he is.... or better yet - ask your girlfriend. perhaps while you are out working, (and telling things that people really don't need to be informed of) she's communicating with him in some way. if you haven't done so, may i suggest telling someone who can actually give you and your girlfriend some help in situations like these? like, oh i don't know... the authorities? they have these wonderful legal injunctions called restraining orders, perhaps you've heard of them?

either way, you and i do not share the dynamic of friendship. and i'm really close to calling your employer and having words with him about how uncomfortable i am with you sharing such details about your life with me because this is not the first time you've done this.

wash the windows and get your *censored* ass out of my face.

an irritated respeito

Dear hot new lover,

Looking forward to more hot sexy pussy wetting, hard cock causing times with you.

Hotfully yours,

Dear person who forgot to put on the emergency brake when parking on a steep hill,

Your car was in the middle of a busy road. Also, if you had at least turned the wheel to the curb, your car wouldn't be in the damn way. Get a clue.

Sincerely,
L&P

Dear X,

I hate to use such strong words, but....fuck you for not thinking about me before you did that. It was my safe place.

Now I don't have one. I know that wasn't your intent, and I'm glad things are great for you and all that, but you could have asked me first.

Dear X

I've never felt so stuck - knowing the sides of the coin - both of them - knowing the edges, knowing the colors that are being tossed out there and discarded by one, cared for by another.

To sit back and wait with this gnawing at my gut that tells me to speak out, but I can't and I won't.

So, all I can do is hope you know what you're doing, because I know you don't know all the details, as much as you think you do.

I wish you the best and when you do realize what was happening you understand I was stuck and for the first time in a long time, I didn't know how to act.

Remaining true to herself,

Red

:(:(:( This makes me all kinds of sad. I have a spare room with its own bathroom...it can be your safe place :)

and on another note...

Dear Coworker...

arggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg. When everyone in a great office is miserable because of one individual, and that individual is you...well wake up and smell the Keurig Coffee you have in your hand always. IT IS YOU.

I don't think you'd believe it if someone sat you down to tell you that.

I feel sorry for you when I hear everyone talking about you, and then you do something that makes me shake my head and understand why.

Just say no to your silliness. PLEASE

Dear person interviewing me...

I was absolutely excited to have received the phone call requesting that I come in for an interview. To say that I'm excited is NOT an understatement, but I will readily admit that I'm as nervous as can be. I'm afraid that my best won't be good enough. I'm afraid that instead of having my skills and abilities measured that I'll be judged on the responses I provide to the interview questions. I know that I'm not the only one that you'll be interviewing, but I am hoping you'll see that my skills and abilities would be of use and I'll get the job!

Hopeful interviewee!
