Dear Asshole exboyfriend,
I'm sorry, I don't remember asking to be your sounding board about your new skinny ass asian girlfriend. I'm glad to hear she's smart and oh so nice to you. You deserve it. No, really, you do. And the best part of that conversation was when you asked how I was doing. Yeah, thanks for that. I'm glad you care. I'm sorry if my health is a burden for you. It kinda sucks for me, too.
BTW. When you asked if I missed you and I said yes. I lied. I realized after you hung up, I didn't miss you. You always make me feel like shit.

I hope you and she are happy.
~Better off without you Angel~

Dear Mr. X,

No one has made me feel as dirty and used as you did the other night.

Signed,

Mrs. X

Dear Neighbor across the way,
Did you know, when you tilt your blinds like that, everyone on the street has, a pretty much unobscured view, into your bedroom? Just wondering if your show is on purpose, or a happy accident for all the college boys below.

Dear Ex.

Thanks for reminding me why you're my ex....you would be so much more fun if you could just let go.

But I'll fuck you anyway...cuz god damn ... you fit me.

:D

beloved cast iron skillet,

welcome to my humble apartment. i hope that our relationship will be a loving, lasting union. my search for you in the thrift store proved unsuccessful, however i was elated to have you presented to me brand new; and pre-seasoned (even though i plan to re-pre-season).

i promise never to abuse you or loan you out to anyone. i give you my word that i will take care of you per the instructions you came with. all you have to do is be faithful to me: give me that wonderful crust on my burgers, fry my chicken a beautiful golden brown, and make my cobblers delectable.

i think you and i could make magic together, imagine the things we could do. how about we start with a deep dish pizza this weekend? i'm up for it, are you game?

*hugging you* oh beloved, CIS (your name until i find a suitable one), i think this could be the start of a beautiful friendship.

eternally yours,

respeito

Dear person at my front door:

Your motto when coming to my house should NOT be "Knock louder longer" - would you knock that loud if my door were a concrete door w/ reinforced steel? Further is your secondary motto "Ring bell repeatedly" - b/c last I checked the door bell doesn't have a little sign that says "Press here, press me, press me, more more more!"

Yes I know that you're trying to get a scholarship by selling newspaper subscriptions; I know you're trying to tell me the JW aren't a cult (yes they are!); I know you're trying to give me a special deal on your meat; I know you're trying to sell me an overpriced package of M&Ms that you think I'll want; I know you're trying to get me to sign your GLBT petition for fair & equitable treatment blah blah blah.

Let me make this simple. If I'm not expecting you at my door -friend or not- don't knock on my door more than three times, and don't ring the doorbell more than one time. Doing otherwise will piss me off and could become a hazard to your health

Dear you with the dimples,
Thank you so much for stopping today and spending time with me and my son. It was so amazing to see you again and get big hugs like I remember from growing up. Thank you for listening to the kiddo and actually being interested in what he was saying. I loved listening to your stories and watching you smile. I admit that I am a bit embarrassed that you caught me "drinking you in" but it is worth it if it made you smile. Yes, that is how I used to look at you when we were younger but I can't help it. It's the dimples...and the blue eyes...and that smile that makes me feel like a kid again.
I wish you could have stayed longer but I am so thankful for the time today. Thank you for the memory walk and I hope that we get to see each other again really soon.

*BIG HUGS*
Your, apparently still smitten, childhood friend.

Dear jackass stb X

Your snide and rude ways are about to cause me to snap. You couldn't survive w/o me b/c you're so inept at the basics in life. You don't know how to do laundry, You don't know how to file your taxes, You don't know basic auto maintenance, You don't know how to cook, You don't know how to budget, and Fuck you for not even knowing how to pay your damn cell phone bill!
Just b/c you don't know how to do it doesn't mean that you're entitled to yell at me b/c of your idiocy!!!

I can't wait until the day when this separation is over b/c the first thing I'm doing is blocking your number - then you'll have to figure out how to do what any other normal adult would know how to do!

Tired of your ignorance...me!

Dear Daughter,

You want to play games.....then bring it. I will play games with you. You can just play "mom's games" instead of yours.

And just so you know, dear daughter, I will WIN.

Playing stupid over when homework is due....is not going to fly. Being mouthy...is not going to help you win any brownie points with me. Being lazy certainly is not going to help you either.

You hate me...well good. It means I'm doing my job.

Dear Self,

Yes, I know it's been a while and yes I know you can go it alone, but we do know that's only a quick fix and over and done with in a matter of minutes. We both know what you want and it isn't going to be found working it alone.

Dear You,

The stars/planets and all that shit should align better for us, it would help me out immensely.

~ Frustrated Red

Dear Self,

No more excuses, damn it!

Dear Friend,

I'm all out of sympathy. I told you when you bought the house that the basement walls had water damage, but you brushed off my concern and assured me the old owners had fixed the problem. I suggested to you then that you take care not to store anything on the floor, just in case, and you choose to do the exact opposite of that. Im sorry your stuff got ruined, but really, its your own fault:rolleyes:

Dear Rain

Don't you think it's time you went somewhere else just for a little while? Your pretty raindrops on my window are lovely but I don't want to see them everyday!!

Dear Manager:

Its a restaurant. Its late at night. We're gonna have people come in, sit down, then decide its too late to be eating a full damn meal. I left them alone for 5 fucking minutes tops to read the menus. Don't take it out on me. Seriously, you way overreacted last night. I think an apology is in order.
