Dear Cousin,

This has got to stop. You are literally wearing me down with your incessant complaining, paranoia and freak-out. You're blowing my mind with your insecurities and with your over-analysing. It's worst than me. I realise that this is the pot calling the kettle black, but goddamnit, woman, enough is enough.

When I tell you that I am taking off for the weekend to visit a friend and to get some work done, please do not text me 15 times. That's a little excessive. I do not want to know, nor do I need a play-by-play of who-said-what-when-and-how. Furthermore, I fucking told you I'm gone. I turned that phone off, and yet you text me "need you" and "hello? no answer?". Um... gone, remember? I needed to get away to get work done - I think that would indicate something, no?

I'm not your therapist. I'm worried about you and the kids. The behaviour you are displaying is obsessive. You chose to listen to rumours than logic. The truth is, we don't know what the truth is. Until he comes back and tells you what the fuck is going on, why believe a hundred other people? With all these conflicting theories and rumours, hasn't it crossed your thick skull that maybe he is telling you the truth and these rumours are exactly that? Rumours?

The thing is, cuz, that while I love you, your behaviour for the past month and a half is exhausting and it's heaping a shit load of insecurities onto me, to the detriment of my work and personal relationships. Because of the fact that for the past month and a half, two months, all I've been hearing is you questioning and believing rumours, it has me questioning everything as well. It took a scare and a severe pull-your-head-out-my-ass from 2 people I love to stop.

I'm not responsible for you. It's not my job to keep you sane as you so love to tell me. It's yours. If you cannot pull your head out of your ass and let it go and stop believing every half-assed rumours, then you need help. It's no longer you being unsure. The behaviour you are displaying is frankly getting to be frightening: it's obsessive, borderline stalkerish.

It's frustrating, it's tiring, and it's draining. And I personally don't want to fuck my life up over you. Please be accountable for your actions and how it affects others.

I'm strong, but this is your fight, girl, not mine. I'll cheer you on, but I will not fight your battles for you. I get it that you do not have a support system - however, continue and you will lose me as well.

Your beyond frustrated Cousin.

Maybe you'll read this and maybe you won't. But if you do, know that I'm okay. I'm graduating next week. I've got a huge adventure ahead of me, and though I'm scared I know it will turn out well. Most importantly, thank you for everything you gave me- and know that I don't hold against you what you couldn't give me. I miss you and I hope you are happy :)

FP

Congats on your graduation Molly. When I mentioned I was going back to get another degree, you were the only person on Lit offer their encouragement.

Hopefully things will work out for you using that newfound knowledge.

Congrats!!! (again) :cathappy:

Dear GDC -

Almost 4 months ago you re-established contact w/ me. I never dreamed that I would hear from you again, and yet here we are. The time has gone by so quickly to the point I almost think there was never the huge gap where we weren't talking. I know there are still things that cause you to struggle...but what I don't understand is why you think you have to handle the issues on your own when I'm here for you.

It seems as tho every time you have a set back that you push me away, and tell me that you're damaged goods. I care so much about you and I've never viewed you that way. I wish you would quit allowing your past to ruin the present.

Waiting for you...Me

Dear X,

I am doing quite well here in my new life. There is no need for you to worry, there is no need for you to continue to call.

Really. Stay where you are. Half a continent is just the right distance.

Quite content,
me

Dear litters who get me --

You're few and far between. If it werent for you, I'm not sure I'd stay motivated to come here and listen to music/write sexual blurbs/etc.

Dear Playgrounders,

I'm sorry I've been away. I'm back now, I hope you see more of me and help me feel wanted.

Dear Jennifer Love Hewitt,

Just show your tits already. The Client List without seeing your tits? Not very believable. You are the ONLY reason I would ever be jealous of Carson Daly.

Signed,

Tired of just staring at your cleavage. Show some fucking nipple.

Dear helpful,

Her nipples looking like clowns would be the only way to cure me. If Tyra Banks can swim with dolphins by God I can start at clown nipples and get a different type of shiver.

Signed,

Ready to love clowns (nipples)

dear switching sides,
good of you to face your fear and learn to embrace something you once hated.

Dear "could be" Employer...

On 22 March I had a 2 1/2 hour interview w/ your company. I would have hoped that given my prior experience in not one, but two jobs of a similar nature that this would have allowed you to see that I would absolutely be the perfect candidate for this job. It is now 8 May. I firmly believe had I not initiated a phone call, and an email that I would not have heard back at all. I have contacted you a total of three times, yet I've only heard from you a total of two times.

I wish that you could see that I would absolutely be an asset to your company. I would love to report to my family and friends that you're an awesome company, and that they would be wise to consider giving their business to you. At this point were I to make that suggestion they would think differently given how you've procrastinated and have been so indecisive in your hiring decision.

If you prefer to hire someone who is mediocre I can't control that, but at least have the decency to tell me "You're no longer being considered." I could accept the rejection. I refuse to quit following up tho, especially b/c I have a passion for this field of work. Regardless of that passion I'm beginning to wonder if I really want to work for a company that lacks the decency to reply to a candidate in a timely manner.

I need this job I have the qualifications, and I really wish you would get your thumb out of your fucking ass and give me the damn job already

An asset that you're ignoring...me

Dear Birds

There are many of you that have made nests in the siding under the upper deck. There is only one hole that you have all used in order to come and go from your nests. There are at least 3 different birds' nests in the "tunnel" created by the siding, insulation and floor --- here are my questions:

When the baby birds that you are all caring for (and you have a lot of kids between the three birds' nests that I know about) are ready to learn to fly, how will you do it?

Will you all line your babies up in a row and coax them out?

Will one of you be the Ground Controller, another the Tower Controller and yet another parent assigned the duty of Marshaller?

Will your babies understand not to push and shove the person in front of them because hey - everyone needs to learn how to fly, but it isn't fair to throw them off the ledge!?

Will you warn your babies to make sure they fly high because the cat lady next door has 20+ cats waiting to devour them if they don't?

I hope it all goes well for you when you and the kids take those big steps and lift those little wings.

Signed,

Your neighbor ~ whose car you have covered with gifts, as well as the deck, the banister, the steps, the porch, and the driveway.

P.S. I do appreciate you not hitting me with your gifts!

Dear Clueless X,

Will you ever get it? I think not. Your daughter is a wonderful young woman that has proven herself to be capable of making good decisions for her future. Give her some credit....she knows you have an addiction and she tries to overlook it because you're her father.
Calling her while intoxicated and yelling at her only makes you an ass and makes her avoid you.
She stood up to you last night....She wants to spend Mother's Day with her mother NOT your mother. I was very proud of her for speaking her mind but you left her in tears and that's not ok with me.
Get a grip...come back to reality. You don't deserve me and you aren't worthy of her. She's seeing the real you..fix it before it's too late.
You crossed the line last night...you aren't going to hurt my little girl.

Signed,
Your Pissed Off X

Dear GLS,

Thanks for last night. I suggest running away (somewhere in Utah?) and all getting married. I could handle running from the law if you sang to me everyday.

Signed,
A happy listener

Dear prospective employer...

It has now been one week and one day since I last emailed you to follow up on the status of the job I interviewed for. I'm wondering if your lack of reply is a typical response?

I am contacting you b/c I want to work for your company, however I'm at a point of being so frustrated that I've started contacting the local news channels in the hopes that a story will be done about the excessive hiring delays that most prospective employees are faced with.

The least you could do is reply to me in a timely manner, that would be the professional thing to do.

Running out of patience - Me.

Dear Ex,

Thank you for doing what you said you would do, the children really enjoyed the movie even though they really wanted to see it with you. Now, just keep on keeping your promises and things might get better between you and them.

Thanks,

Your Ex

Dear Needy,

Find someone else to cater to your manic depressive foolishness.

I don't have the time.

My love,

Over 4 years in now and I could never in my life imagine loving anyone as much as I do you...the intensity of the feeling seems to grow with each passing day and each new amazing experience rather than diminish...I never tire of looking at you, touching you, tasting you...

Your love

Dear bitchface, just think, we go to court next Tuesday and you'll get to hear a judge say you lose. The next one will make you lose even more. You'll lose custody, pay me support, pay my costs and be out of my life forever.

BTW, your son, the one you tormented and abused, he doesn't want to see you again.
Happy Mother's Day, Bitch.
