I would say....like much of the discussion here...it would depend highly on the agreement between the two lovers.

For myself, I would say a bi-weekly type thing...or even a monthly thing would qualify, depending on the location of the other person. If you are far a part from one another and find yourselves meeting once a year, I think you could still call them a fuckbuddy...it really is semantics.

I do not think it's so much a frequency thing.

I think the term buddy applies really to those you consider a friend "with benefits".

If you do not care so much about the other person, but you like fucking each other...then perhaps you are not so much buddies as "people you have sex with"
