I've never tried to hide the fact that I have no sympathy at all when it comes to illegal aliens, and/or illegal workers. Further more I freely admit that I have some serious reservations about our hard earned taxes dollars being spent to investigate the poor working conditions of people who should not be here in the first place. If they want PROTECTIONS under the law, then they first need to be abiding by the law.

As I said before, If we gave more attention to helping the Mexican people become more self sufficient we wouldn't have to worry about illegals risking theirs lives to come across the borders.

Look at the money we've found to "re-build" Iraq. What about the people who've abused the welfare system, we need to crack down on them also.

If you merely were political on this thread, even in the insult-laden style that most political arguments come in, that would be fine. There'd be the old scraps in the thread of course, because political threads always have scraps. That's what they are built for.

(I know the effect political threads can have on people).

However, you. You don't feel content to stay with the insults. No, you come in here, directly moving to dire threats against cloudy and her writing. You engaged in a campaign to attack things purely for the merit of hoping she cared for them. You attacked them in the hopes that if it was personal enough, it would make her cry. This behvior is called sadism.

The way you feign innocence after you reveal this twisted sadism is downright Carcer. If you haven't read the book, which I know you haven't, then you won't understand what I mean.

We didn't rush in and give her artificially high scores. People don't do that. If she had high scores then it is because people, real people out there liked the stories and voted accordinally. If you genuinely disliked her stories (I know you're just being a sadist about them), then so be it, she's not the author for you. People like different things, appreciate different styles. I know I hate most of the non-fiction books that everyone says are so great and I can't stand memoirs. Because of that, I don't read them.

Anyway, the main point is that one-bombing her stories out of pure sadism (I know you did because you laid out the threat almost inmistakably clear earlier) is an offense so vile, so counter to any standard of decency that I am feeling dirty just admonishing you. You are a disgrace to vermin shall. A fucking disgrace.

P.S. A one-bombing campaign against every story all at one time like you did can not be explained with a "oh I graded it on its merits". It's a purely vindictive campaign. Stories and politics are separate and should always remain separate. That lady in the Harbor is for all those who come here LEGALLY. Everyone seems to be ignoring a very real reality here...there are over 7 million ILLEGAL ALIENS in our nation right now. That is a MAJOR segment of population, and that number of people here under wrongful pretences creates a substantial drain on social services, our infrastructure, so forth and so on. Sorry, but I do not buy into the theory that we as a nation need to accept and provide nuture to every mongrel stray dog that decides they want to make a future here.

The average American in NY works until June 6th to be free of their tax burden...personally, if shipping all these illegals home were to change that to where I worked less of my year to pay taxes, then I am all for it. Is that selfish...perhaps, but I believe that welfare needs to start at home, and I would far prefer to be helping friends and family down on their luck than being in a position of having to pay more taxes to support people I do not even know who have broken laws to force themselves into our land.

Did you even read my post? Did you read a single damn sentence? I clearly stated first off the bat. I am non-partisan on the issue of one-bombing. I am equally upset at your one-bombing and those who would use it on you are as equally vilified in my eyes as the person who 1-bombed cloudy (which I have not yet heard you deny). It's not a "I'm a wuss omega wolf" issue. P.S. To all the debaters of all sides of the political spectrum, in every thread and forum and corner of cyberspace, the retreat of the other side doesn't mean you won the debate. It really doesn't.
