That is one thing I wish I could do here -- hide handwritten notes. Foolish, but there I am.

It's sweet and thoughtful, not foolish! And though it can't be hidden quite the same, there are ways to slip little notes between words.

Have I mentioned I write out my novels longhand? The transition to the computer is the first revision.

Of course, there are times I can barely read my own writing...

Some doodles, but most of that is in my notes notebooks.

Mostly shorthand scrawl, especially when I am thinking faster than I write.

I used to use a dictation program, Dragon, but the upgrades out priced me, and the previous version only works on Win10.

There you go, smashing my idle fantasies to shreds! I envisioned a leatherbound notebook full of hurried script, with ink blotches and a few rare sketches in the margins.

I remember that program... it didn't like my accent.

I would rather fantasies for me were something more than idle...

I have a couple of leather-bound notebooks, gifts. They are all blank since I don't want to mess them up.

I too have journals that I never use because they are too pretty... but I will use them soon.
