Mrs. Henderson Presents is a delightful film with wonderful chemistry between Judi Dench and Bob Hoskins and a one to watch performance by Kelly Reilly...ok, so it's about the first nudie musical...what's wrong with that?

Nice pick eric shawn listo.
I spent a wonderful afternoon in the cosy confines of a small cinema a few weekends ago when I went to see Mrs Henderson Presents with a girlfriend.
Sure it's a little schmaltzy, predictable and sentimental in places but it's also very entertaining, transporting and a moving testament to the triumph of pleasure and joy against a backdrop of war time London.
There's some snappy dialogue in the style Spencer Tracy and Katherine Hepburn, with a good deal of witty repartee between Judi Dench and Bob Hoskins. It's engagingly funny, warmly human and beautifully shot. Oh and the costumes are gorgeous...and the naked girls are pretty too, in fact the titty tableaux are divine dahling!

It's exactly that kind of film!! Yeah Tracy/Hepburn feel is definitly there...there's two votes guys!!

We watched Paparazzi the other day. It was interesting in a B movie not as good as death wish kinda of way. If the paparazzi actually do that shit, they are SICK!!!

Fury :rose:

Flight 93... actually very well done... I cried... and cried...
if it weren't a "real life" movie I'm not sure it would be as good...

but it is... and it's powerful.

Just tried to watch "Bloodrayne" HORRIBLE. Do not touch.

"The Ringer" was a lot better than I thought it would be, so I watched it twice.

The latest DVD I watched was *gulp*

Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers : The Movie.

It was my 4 year old daughters choice and she really enjoyed it, I fell asleep half way through, but I did giggle a few times before I dropped off...

Watched Grandma's Boy last night. Fucking hilarious, a must see.

I'm watching Rent now that I am loving. :D

This afternoon I caught Mindhunters. I quite enjoyed it.

It's about of group of trainee profilers that get sent off on a 'simulation' that ends up as the real thing.

I didn't figure out who was responsible until the movie told me. A rather tense and somewhat horrific story.

A nice way to waste an afternoon.

Tristan and Isolde... eh... not bad, I guess. Loved the guy who played Lord Marke, though *pant*

History of Violence... interesting plot, although it didn't quite suspend my disbelief in some places... great little surprising sex scene in this one... esp if you have cheerleader fantasies...

Jarhead... liked it a lot. Scared the hell out of me (really, this is REALLY what's going on over there!?) but I liked it...

Scotland, PA

It's not brand new, but a great Sundance film. Based on Macbeth (which is obvious when you see it). Christopher Walken is in it and he's the man, so I definitely recommend it.

OKay, I just watched Earnhardt. If you are a NASCAR fan then this is a must see. (If you have no interest in Stock Car Racing then this movie wouldn't entertain you a bit.)

Watched JarHead a while back. Yep this one is a good one. Worth watching.

BloodRayne. If your a fan of Vamp. movies then you'll get a kick out of this one. If not then don't waste your money.

That's Ok, I taught my daughter to like Godzilla movies. I figured it was better than watching Barbie Princess in 3-D about 1000 times. Her favorite is Son Of Godzilla (she loves watching him save the baby, then teaching him how to breath fire). It's not new, but we just watched Iron Giant the other day. If you have kids, it's a must-see. One of the highest rated movies ever on RottenTomatoes.com.

I haven't seen any good ones in a while. I'm going to try Ari's movie and Munich (I heard that was really good).

I wanted to see Earnhardt. I was raised among NASCAR races and when I was 13 my dad brought me to my first one. It was a blast and then when Earnhardt died, my dad was crushed. I had never seen someone react so badly to a "celebrity" of sorts dying.

Hot Shots, Part Duex.

I know, I know, it's stupid. But sometims stupid is fun.

"So why do you need me?"

Last Holiday with Queen Latifah, actually liked it. I also picked up A Steve Harvey stand-up that he did at Mega-Fest. It was called "Don't trip......He ain't through with me yet. What was so funny was that it was in front of a church crowd and he couldn't cuss. But his comedy stayed real. Actually had to get on a waiting list for Dave Chappelle's Block Party. Hell, might as well go buy it. But, I'm not waiting for Nacho Libre to come out on DVD.

We watch this at least once a year. I have it memorized, but you have to get the whole package.

Well it's out on DVD now and well worth renting. (Especially if you happen to have surround sound.)

Yep, I too grew up around racing, all kinds of racing as long as it involved an oval track of some kind. (Dirt, Tar or even Ice.)

Earnhardts death was a bad day but it didn't bother me as much as Allisons.

I need to go rent it, then. :D

Underworld:Evolution

the first one was better, but it was ver-ra nice to see kate in second skin leather again.

Enron: Smartest Guys in the Room.

Wow. Blew my mind. A must see, especially for anyone that is against regulation of markets.
