You reach out to a Litster you think may be fun getting to know or give virtual hugs because they are going through something and they latch on but you don't feel a connection there. Do you tell them up front or drift away in the night?

I am an equal opportunity hugger. If someone is going thru something,I try to be nice. It does not mean I expect anything in return. So more often than not, there's no connection. I may be a special case though.

Yeah, I don't really do that. So this isn't much of a problem for me.

I've only experienced one Stage 5 clinger in my time here. And even after I tried the up front route, they persisted. So then it went to radio silence and they eventually got the drift.

I guess I'm a bit of a bitch. I don't handle needy very well.

Hmmmm. For some reason I don’t picture VT as being very tall, maybe 5’4” or 5’5”? A curvy figure, and an open friendly smile that hides hidden depths. Brunette, of the medium variety.

Bonus: And since it’s casual Friday, a more relaxed look with jeans and cowboy boots. Silver necklace and earrings, hair up in a messy bun, and glasses that tend to slide down and perch on the tip of her nose.

Bonus Question: I’ve actually received some really excellent advice on Lit. As most of it came from someone not currently here to defend herself, I'll go with a little gem offered up by the first male litster I chatted with at any length.

Do not make a public declaration of undying love for another Litster.

- as the surest way to tank a relationship. I, being the complete noob, had no idea what he was talking about.

Now, after a little board time under my belt, oh boy, do I get it.

Before anyone protests, of course there are litlationships that go public and ride off into the Lit sunset. Nor does successful have to mean permanent. I consider mine a success, and a friend had one that ran five years and ended amicably.

But….the ones that do blow up can get uuuuuuugly. Half the time at least one party ends up leaving the board.

However, I’m heading out to shop with my bestie and will keep my eyes open for any licentious loitering. And report back, naturally.

Sunday, the weekend's last dance. Are you the type that plans ahead for Monday? Maybe selecting tomorrow's outfit or planning lunches/weeknight meals? Or do you spend the day trying to pretend Monday isn't going to happen, ignoring the inevitable as long as possible?

Sundays are lazy mornings followed by food prep. I’m a little fussy about our food consumption during the week. I like it to be uber healthy with a lot of variety (and tasty!). Planning, shopping, and cooking the bulk of the food ahead sets things up so it’s easy to pack lunches the night before, with fresh stuff, like salad or fruit, ready to be done super quick each morning.

I even have these cute little green-lidded Oxo containers of differing sizes that stack up neatly. They get popped into a cooler that I send off with my SO. I also use them to freeze ahead.

Okay. Reading over that it’s possible I’m more than a little fussy.

I may be more than a little fussy, too. I spend Sunday doing laundry and cooking ahead for the coming week. I will even set out clothes for the entire family before bed. I wish I could say I enjoy it, but it is all done out of necessity. I often work late, so having a meal ready to heat and eat is critical to my sanity.

And you're close on the physical description...like, pretty close! On Friday I was wearing jeans (it was casual day at work) and a sweater, but no sandals or bare feet. It was chilly in my little corner of the world on Friday. (But sunny and 65 today - woot!) And I always strive for simple elegance, but if I succeed... who knows?

Sorry I was too busy yesterday to reply.

Sundays are usually my busiest day, and yesterday was no exception. I started my day at 6:30 (early for me) and went till after midnight. Busy, busy, busy.

The most time was consumed by spring cleaning, putting stuff into my van to take to Goodwill, or to just throw away. I had some old computers (15 - 25 years old) and needed to erase/reformat the hard drives before donating them to Goodwill. Maybe these should be in a museum?

Not so much "learned" as this was a notable new experience. I (we) experienced the passing of someone I only knew from their posts on Lit. While I have experienced many deaths in real life of family and friends, this was the first for someone I knew only digitally. I wasn't sure how to morn his passing. Should I morn his passing? I never met the man. Never saw his picture. He only showed us that crazy image he used as his AV. I knew him only from his words. Yet, in a digital way, I knew him. I (we) will miss him. We will remember him.

I've learned VT dresses better than I.

Hmmm. There was this Primal thread in the BDSM Cafe a few months back. I've had a long-time struggle trying to identify my sexual *wants*. During my time at Lit I've wandered through consensual non-consent and BDSM, never quite finding the right fit. Primal/prey was a lovely little find.

I (we) will miss him. We will remember him.

So very sad, still.
