I don't know that I could pinpoint one single historical event. Since the invention of "moving pictures" we've had the ability to witness all of history. Pre-video, there is just too much I want to see. Total nerd, I would love a world where time travel is possible.

To be able to walk through an old frontier town, to hunt with my Cherokee ancestors, to make and bake bread in an old cast iron stove while watching children chase chickens in the yard and farmhands work cattle in the distance, to march with Dr. King, ti stand in line with the first women to cast a ballot, to see my granddaddy drive off the lot in his beloved pickup the day he bought it.

If I could travel through time, I fear I would spend the rest of my days wandering in the past and never return to the present. I'll need to be sure and buy the mini-van model so I can take loved ones with me.
