Two problems still remain.
I lack the means to travel, and I would rather actually have a relationship.

I'm pretty much the opposite from Lunation. If I'm conducting a full-out campaign for a fun little flirtation, something more casual, you'd probably be able to tell it from our flirting on the threads. Something that is more than that, though, I keep private, just between the two of us. If things ever went further than that, in r/l, I'd probably go public, a la Mr & Mrs Mindfondler and some others.

For me it's more about respect. In the land of Lit, there seems to be no monogamy. I don't want to shout from the rooftops that I'm involved with someone and later find out that he's been shtooping every woman I know on the side. If it's open and side shtooping is part of the deal, that's fine. I just don't want a man publicly saying I belong to him and privately getting his pickle tickled all over the place. I don't like being made to look like a fool.

But that's just me. With the right man, my attitude may change completely.

Hopefully the nature of my primary relationship is rather obvious (i.e. public).

Having said that, tinglebliss and I are both in regular contact with quite a few Liisters, and we have enduring friendships with several, but we tend to keep those private, simply because there's no good reason to make a song and dance about them publicly.

I think it's as simple as that for us.

As much as I may do certain things in public.....I prefer to have my hook ups or otherwise in private. I can't be my horndog self in public too often. I mean I may let out a bit of a tease in public, but I really let the horns out in private.

I have only had this reversed a few times and luckily it was buried under many other posts.
