Even More Random Thoughts

Just when I think the entire body there needs to get off the computer and go touch grass, there's a witty comment that makes me laugh.

Also, I wish there was a spot around here where I could walk around outside in the grass. The pavement gets hot.

That begs the question does anything else get wet 🤔

Working at a hospital at night, moving behind the scenes, you'd think I'd get used to the odd call of "There's brown stuff coming out of the ceiling tiles."

That might be better than, "I heard voices in an empty room." 🤔

Or, there’s brown stuff coming out of that orafice & you need to clean it up!

(Also, why won’t spellcheck let me say orafice? Did I spell it that wrong? )

Omg love it but when the fish come to me it’s because of the way I handle my rod 😜

Replying to myself… it’s orifice, but spellcheck doesn’t like that either!

The day began filled with promise.
Sun shining brightly, wind negligible……water calm as glass.

The intrepid crew, made up of thrown together members, settled in for a voyage of conquest.
Determination and intensity shone forth from each seated participant.
The zeal of the endeavour was substantive.

The horn blew and the race began.

About a quarter of the way through the zeal starts turning to desperation. We are getting beat by three boats. Unacceptable.
So, being men of vigor, the determination is made to remedy the situation. This determination results in a broken nose and a split knuckle.
Results indeed, but not for our cause.

After another snapped oar, and a cooler dropped out of the boat, we are disqualified.

Dead last, two bleeding crew members, and sought for glory, left behind in our shame.

Quite a day indeed. 😉🇨🇦
