This time next year, so many things in my life will have changed. Hopefully, all for the better, but it's a lot.

It's going to be a fine balance of preparing for each aspect, and not overthinking everything and becoming overwhelmed by it all.

So, I'm loving the scary movies stuff right now, and I'll be done with Halloween well before it's here. And I do the same with Christmas - I get right into the movies and stuff during November, then into December I'm like 'meh'.

I think it stems from me not liking being told what to do and when to do it...

So, I'm loving the scary movies stuff right now, and I'll be done with Halloween well before it's here. And I do the same with Christmas - I get right into the movies and stuff during November, then into December I'm like 'meh'.

I think it stems from me not liking being told what to do and when to do it...

Ah, but that's the thing - during the actual season I'm so busy being goddamned superwoman and giving everyone else the magic of time, that I'm too busy to enjoy them the same.

As a side note: I *love* the Royal Variety Performance Show, and yet I often miss it because I get caught up in other stuff because it's too close to Christmas when it's aired. *sigh*

See I work at Lowe's right now, and we set Halloween up in July and now Christmas is set up now. Three months with Christmas up is going to really dull my appreciation.
