The only horror that has truly terrified me is Jaws.
Seen too young. Still need a pillow and a remote in my hand for when it gets too tense.

I have watched many other horrors.
Films like Martyrs are a hard watch but no where even close in terms of fear and sheer terror for me.

I love Jaws. That is horror (more suspense actually imo) that works because your imagination is driving what you fear. That is a classic, and I always stop and watch when it is on!

I think it's that difference between being a kid and an adult, the sense of belief and wonder is gone, As an adult you can always tell yourself it's just a film and they are acting but kids go all in

The Friday the 13th movies got pretty bad imo as they went. I personally feel that Nightmare on Elm Street held up better.

They definitely did, but you can always hope for a comedy / inventive death even in the dark days of Jason takes Manhattan

I guess that is why I like the Final Destination movies. Some of the deaths were very creative. The opening of Final Destination 2 was great!!

Fair, I mean, Jaws is a classic,
But I don't think films hit as hard as an adult as they do when you are ( probably ) to young

Just looked up Undertone and read the description. Is it basically a story told from just the podcaster's point of view?

Its on HBOMax currently. Storyline is good. But I was annoyed by the time anything actually "scary" happened.
