::Loki finished his drink and ordered another from one of the waitresses. Although he enjoyed his privacy there were times when he needed alittle attention...some sport if you will. In truth he was looking to find someone not as innocent as some of the other people he had met in this world. He needed to find someone more like himself.

He soon moved that Idea to the back of his mind, though he may be looking for some companionship he had other things to be thinking about now. He watched as Peorth made her way to the stairs, heading up them rather quickly::

Babe wasnt that frindly to Alex I wonder why Thats strange. Well She hurryed out of there as i went To Go meat Julie I soon arive At her Loft apartment. i banged on the door and no one answer i banged again . ANd wiated whats keeping her Did she Fall Asleep or something . Well i pulled my Cell phone out And Called her Phone . it rang and rang . I FInally hung Up ANd Banged again Thats when I herd her haller she was coming

I finely made it back to my top story loft in once peice, tired but wiser for the night.
Damn Yggdrasil Sysops. Ditzy things couldn't even keep me from accessing the mainframe personally. Good thing they weren't running the world anymore. Just a part of it that was pretty much unsinkable.
I stripped as I entered my loft, hit the shower, threw on an oversized Tshirt and collapsed into my bed, tired as hell. I set the alarm to wake me at 0730 and fell into a deep sleep.

Alex

Alex was interested to hear that her name was Peorth, not a very common name at all. He remembered hearing that name before, but he could not get a full recollection. He heeded her warnings as she walked away, but he had no interest in the bean dip at any case. He said his goodbyes and left through the front door.

He walked four blocks in the crisp air, stopping in front of the museum. The placard on the front read American Museum of Ancient Art , the title strangly incongruent with the appearance of the ultramodern building. Alex smiled as he thought of the one item in the whole building that had held his attention. The fee of twelve dollars was well worth the chance to behold such a treasure with his naked eyes.

With reluctance, Alex turned away. He walked the last six blocks to his studio apartment. After entering his one huge room, he put his backpack to the side. He walked over to his beaded curtain that somewhat seperated his apartment. His last thought as his head hit the pillow was that he hoped that bastard Nikolas had better be worth all the time that Juli was going to have to invest into him.

Julie was having the most wonderful dream when the man in it decided to bang on the bed .. then the phone rang ... and then he started banging on the headboard again... until she realized that the banging was comming from her door, she jumped out of the cold water bath and the jets had automatically shut off... she grabbed her phone and saw that she had just missed a call. "Oh shoot! I must have dozed off"

she grabbed the towel and kinda dried off grabed her deep purple silk robe from the hook on the back of the bathroom door and said, I'm comming hold on a sec!"

She walked to her door and opened it to find Nickolis there

she looked at him smiling, hair dripping and said, "sorry I dozed off in the tub, here why dont you come in while I go get changed..

She stepped back to let him into her place..

I Entered her Apartment We walked up the stairs to her loft Apartment. It seamed to be decorated in Greek and Celtic decore.

I Sat on her Sofa as she went in to her Room to Change She Had left her Door opened just far enough that i could See her reflection in her full length mirror. I Stood Up bottel of Marlot still in my hand trying to keep from looking at the mirror.


"im Ganna go ahead and pure us some Wine wheres your classes "

She told me where they were and i walked in to her opened kitchen and pured the classes of wine whe i looked up my mouth droped when I saw her standing there looking at me.

Juli walked out in her black come get me dress. it was black until you walked in the light and saw that it was violet, deep violet and in the light .. you almost can see a silouette of her body. it hung off one of her shoulders leaving one bare and fitted the top portion of her body like a glove showing a healthy portion of her endowments, the bottom looked like a whole bunch of veils tied to the bottom of a bodice it went all the way to the floor when she walked you saw a glimpse of her long legs...

she walked over to where he was standing and said, "Is that wine?" she took the glass from him and smiled "thats so sweet" she took a sip from the glass and looked into his eyes.. her dark violet eyes looked smoldering. It was a look that said, "Come taste this.. cause its to die for.."

juli woke up around five... realizing that it was still dark out, she turned to see the still sleeping form of Nickolis...she couldnt believe that it had gone this far.. she had never meant to go this far... she looked at him.. he really was a fine speciman of man... strong muscular legs that ended in a beautiful sculpted arse... it was what was on the side of his hip that caught her attention .. she paled ... she knew that mark .. that was the mark of a god.. of a particular god.. one that she was in love with .. one that had never looked at her.. but how can that be... he died.. she watched him die .. it was immpossible how could he have come back... it was the whole reason for her ritual.... to send her back ... she was looking for the component which had caused his death .. ...

she needed to call Alex...

she left the room and went into her home office... she hands shook so bad that they could barley dial the numbers..

"Hey alex.. I need to talk with you .. its urgent .. yeah .. uh huh ..I'll meet you there... "

she hung up the phone got dressed and left .. she left a note on the bed next to nickolis.. she say down on the bed for a second.. she brushed his hair from his eyes . and tenderly kissed his brow.. " I never thought I would ever see you again.. " she whispered to herself...

she stood up and walked out the door..

Alex awoke to an incessant buzzing next to his head. It took four futile grabs before he was able to launch his alarm clock for a new home record of three meters. A satisfying smash of the plastic against the wood paneling fully awoke him. However, the noise did not stop. Wiping the sleep from his eyes, he realized that it was not the alarm clock but it was his cell phone that was making the hideous noise.

He picked up the cell phone after emiting a loud burp. He could hear Juli's voice on the other end. She sounded very preturbed. He agreed to meet her at the small apartment that they had rented to keep all the stuff for the ritual in. He hung up with an "I Love You" , then he quickly showered. He left his apartment and walked the five blocks to the apartment.

He arrived first and went up to the room, lighting the candles to give them some light. He also set two sets of incense sticks burning. He knew that usually the scent of those would help calm her down. He kneeled down on the floor in front of the couch and waited for her to arrive.

I woke early, did my morning run and jujitsu class before heading to school. Working collage girl- fun, I thought with a roll of my eyes. I was in a computer major, though I didn't need it. School would only let me challange so many of the classes a semester so I was stuck with American History and Cisco Advanced Routing. Amazing things those cowboys did, I doodled as my history teacher droned on and on.

School lets out, run home, shower, grab my costume bag and makeup.
Ah- freedom! Off to work now, today it was Loki's Greek Resturant. I hit the dressing room after grabbing a steak from the kitchen (medium rare of course). I wolfed it down while checking my sound equipment, chasing it down with some apple juice. Loved the blased stuff, couldn't figure out why though.
I stripped in the dressing room and got into my "Muse" costume. It was a Greek resturant- so of course I had to sing dressed as a Greek Muse. Oh what they'd say if they knew I, the Mystery, was impersonating them!
I picked up my lute, tuned it, warmed my voice up and headed onto the stage. I switched on the mike after I was introduced and began to sing in classic Greek, the story of man who was foolish, chasing a woman who wouldn't love him while his childhood friend loved him silently, though she protected him all she could. Sounded rather familiar...

::The night had wained and he awoke with somewhat of a hangover from all of the drinks he had at Scores. But now was not the time to fuss over a headache, The Resturant needed opened and he would have to start his managerial duties soon.

After getting dressed, Loki too the backstairs down into the resturante and walked out into the dinning area, seeing his muse take to the stage and start singing her songs. A smile came to his face recognising the tune, knowing that Niki would never put two and two together at this moment in time...no the boy wonder was too involved with his new friend and the scams he and Alex were trying to accomplish.

He walked over to the Muse as she finished the song.::

"You do realise that he is too much head over heels for that girl to even give you a second glance at the moment yes?"

::He carefully took a lock of her long hair and twirled it between his fingers looking at its color before looking up into her face::

"Now me, on the other hand, I think you look ravashing Peorth....perhaps we could go out after work tonight just you and I and enjoy each others company?"

It was the Goddess' honest truth yet he didn't seem to think I was serious. I smiled sadly, finished tuning my lute and went on stage to perform for the evening.

After my last set Loki came over to talk.

"You do realise that he is too much head over heels for that girl to even give you a second glance at the moment yes?"
::He carefully took a lock of her long hair and twirled it between his fingers looking at its color before looking up into her face::
"Now me, on the other hand, I think you look ravashing Peorth....perhaps we could go out after work tonight just you and I and enjoy each others company?"

"Muse I am not," I said with a laugh. "I am the Eternal Mystery, but that's a whole 'nother ball game."
Loki's proposal made me study him for a moment, head tilted to one side, my face-framing bangs sliding. "I know Niki's an idiot and has a thing for that bitch. Don't like her- and I liked his last girlfriend so don't say its jealousy."
Loki laughed at me. I shrugged.
"Well its true- if she hurts him I'll destroy her, though that's like closing the barn door after the horse is loose. Anyway, moving on, why are you so hot after little ole me? There are a dozen hotter girls at Scores alone, not to mention the rest of the city. Why do you want one little reincarnated Norse Goddess instead of all of them?"

julie walked to the place where Alex had decided that they were going to meet ... she stepped into the doorway and immidiately calmed down... it was amazing how he just knew what to do when she was worked up about something...


She walked into the ritual room and knelt down next to Alex... bent her head down and when she was done she turned and looked at Alex... who was sitting there watching her
"Alex you wont believe this... but I think you found him... I talked with him and stuff happened and then I saw the mark... " She grabbed his hands and put one on her check and put her face into it rubbed her face into his hand her eyes were closed she whispered to him.... "can you believe it .. it's him ... I didnt even know it was possible ... and then we find the one thing that will bring his memory back... " She looked at him with loving eyes.. "I never got to thank you for helping me.." She leaned over and kissed him ..not one of her normal ones.. but one that let him know how she felt...

"So how do we get him to come with us? " She tilted her head to one side and asked.

::He teased her, then tossed her hair about a bit, then shrugged::

::Just the idea of beeing with her made his skin tingle, and all the fun and trouble they could get into was just a blur in his head as he thought of it. Then again perhaps he should keep a closer eye on niki, that new girl in his life seems to have him head over heels and something about it just didnt smell right.::

Alex looked at Juli, amazed that she had held her self control for this long. He was aware of how long she had ached for the loss that she had suffered. For the fate of time to allow her to get her loved one back, she would have gone to hell and back if she knew a way existed. Alex felt his toes tingle with the deep kiss that she gave him. He felt sad for a moment, realizing that he would have to continue to use her. It had been fun for a while, but once he had seen Nikolas, and realized what that sighting portended; he knew the path that he had to take.

"Juli, I have an idea as to how to do this. If you want to get in contact with him. Give him the idea that you want to do some serious hacking aimed at the government. That way , we can get him to the Fort Knox area. He is ripe to spread chaos and show off his computer skills, so this would be a way to get him there. I will get the artifact from the museum and then meet you there. I know it will be dangerous to get the object, but it is neccesary to get his memory back. "

"I think this would be the best way to do it. If I were to suggest it, he would possibly be questioning why. He is in lust with you, and would pretty much do what you say. Is there anything else that you can think of that we need? "

I smiled at Loki. It felt nice to be noticed as a woman with a brain, a sense of naughtyness and a body to match. "So you just want a casual, hot fling? Knowing that if I have the slightest chance of catching Niki I'll dump you like yesterday's rotton potatoes? But since that's probably never going to happen cause he's an idiot, I imagine you're pretty safe there."
He reached out and ran a hand down my face. Leaning into it I sighed. Since Niki had found his new girl I'd become touch starved, needing human contact, no matter the type. "No strings right?"
Loki laughed and nodded. "No strings."
"Okay then," I said with a smile. I leaned forward, knowing the "muse" dress I wore would gape rather nicely over my full B-cup breasts. Push up bras- thier inventor deserved a Nobel Prize.
I brushed my lips across Loki's. "Sealed with a kiss, this no strings fling of ours be. Your place or mine?"

::with a impish smile he pondered that for a moment, then brushed his lips across her ear as he whispered::

-vqw- Depends on how soon you want to get down to it...My place is of course upstairs, but we could goto ypur place...assuming you like to ride in a fast car....

::as he waited for her answer, her toyed with her by flicking his tongue across her earlobe, then placed soft kisses down along her neck and across her Jaw, drowning out her answer before she could get it to pass over her lips::

I shivered as Loki's lips traced my skin, smiling wickedly. I didn't know what Loki drove- doubted it could beat my little speed demon. "We could race to my place, winner gets to take the looser however they want?"

::Laughs softly hearing her proposal::

Any way we want hmmm? That may be very interesting...Ok youre on...winner gets to take the loser anyway they want .

::Loki walked quickly upto one of the help and told her that he was stepping out and would return later...much later... Then Loki went upto his room and packed a few odds and ends into a small travel bag, before returning downstairs to Peorth::

Alright, now where are you parked and where do you live? Ill meet you where you are parked and then we'll go...

I described my loft, gave him the street and building description as we walked outside. I headed for the employee lot, a well lit gated affair. Safety was a top priority here and at Scours. I walked up to a Gen 3 RX7 running my gloved hand over the spoiler. The deep blue looked black in the streetlights. The license plate read "Mystery" and then my Runic symbol.
I slid inside and reved up the engine, loving the "whoosh" of the turbochargers.
I hit the button to open the gate as I backed up and pulled up to it. I put the window down and yelled "Ready?"
Loki flashed his lights and off we went, racing through the quiet streets.

::Moving quickly through the dim streets, Loki attempted to keep up with the vehicle Peorth was driving, but he soon gave up and decided to take his time reaching her loft.

Let her sit and wait for me, give her time to think of everything she wants to do. Sure she loved Niki, but perhaps just perhaps I can sway her over to him instead.

::He pulled his vehicle into a parking spot and then went to the door and took the stairs to her floor. He adjusted his coat before he knocked on the door::

I Walked out of the kitchen where I was cooking see Loki and babe kiss. It didnt sit well For me. I turnd and walked Right back in to The Kitchen Told One Of the other cooks to take over . I headed Up Stairs To get My bag And Keyes to my Bike. A red and black 48 Harly. I Had to go in to my room to get my lap top Witch i shuved in my bag As i Was Doing so I noticed loki come in adn gather som Things as he was packing them i sliped out the door Didnt realy want to talk to him it pissed me off and i dont or at least at the time didnt know why. I Had just Got On my bike When A Woman Walked Up to me .

" Hello Mister Nikolas Zeus, im Agent lois Key of the CIA Can i talk to you" She wa wasnt much about 5 7 slim Build nice looks but nothing specktacular I looked at her not shure what the CIA wanted

The Agent Than turned And left Quickly i took Off Riding Didnt realy know where i was Going As i Was Riding My Phone Rang I answerd my Cell phn it Was Alex

" yea Dude Whats Up.......... Sure Alex ill Meat you At The Museum, but Im Not going to help you still from there ........ Ok Yea I'll litsion to your Big Plan To stiket To the gavernment Im Busy Got to go."

I ended the call As my Bike stoped I Seamed to have driven to Babes Place i Parked my bike And head up to her place she had once told me where she kept the spear key I sat on her sofa And Waited for her not sure why i Drove her than She Walked in Damn She was so ffucking gorgeus. She seamed Surprised I was there.

I'd slipped out of my jeans into a whispy black corset dress, black stockings and matching garter belt. I looked up, startled when Niki waltzed on in.
He called me beautiful- my heart thrilled at those words. "Niki- please, don't toy with me. You think I clean up nice but nothing more."
I hung my head sadly, sighing deeply. I looked back at him, knew my love for him shone from my eyes, couldn't stop myself from looking though. He stood there, windswept and sexy, the sight sending pangs of longing through me.
"Why are you here, Niki?" I rose from my couch and walked over him, close enough to touch, refraining from doing so. "We didn't have a game or hack planned, why the appearance?" I asked gently, needing to know, fearing the answer.
Some part of me whispered that Loki might be here soon. But he knew I wanted Niki, no matter the cost.
Rather sad actually- the Eternal Mystery captured by one who knew not what he was.
