Politicians!!!

Everybody should own one or two. ;)

I want ALL of YOU to STOP this right now~! I don't mind talking "drugs, sex, or rock-n-roll," but I draw the line of politics and religion being brought up on Lit......Unless of course it is related to "drugs, sex, or rock-n-roll~!"

Do the parties of the first part, agree with the parties of the second part? Just say, "YES~!":rose::heart::rose:

Whereas the party in the first part
Hereafter known as the sanity clause
Contracts with the lady in the long white dress
Of he own volition and without duress ... :)

I think for purely maximum fun and games and laughs, owning a Michelle Bachmann or Sarah Palin would provide the best return on investment.

Personally, a Berlusconi - Palin pairing would take the cake! I mean, I don't think I could stand the laughter - too stressful, but worth every penny I'd have to hand over. Bachman - nope, sorry - that lady has no sense of humor or fun whatsoever. That should be a crime....

Do the panties of the first part agree that the panties of the second part should come off? Just say, "YES~!"

Leger, that sounds like a proposal...of sorts...what say you?;)

Oh Take-out; definitely.

BTW. Is there any enthusiasm for Womens Football over there?
(Ah - I mean "Association Football2; you guys call it 'soccer' for some obscure reason)

You put your right foot in.
You take your right foot out.
You put your right foot in,
And you shake it all about.
You do the hokey pokey,
And you turn yourself around.
That's what it's all about

Not so obscure, HP - and it's you Brits fault. Late 19th Century UK had two football games - Rugby Rules and Association Rules. In the jargon of the time, Rugby was turner into "Rugger" and Association...Well, "Asser" didn't sound too nice, so they went to the next syllable. "Socer" didn't sound quite right, so it became "Soccer" Rules Football, and that's the term that came to North America. Worked well, because North American Football was becoming established at that time. The first intercollegiate N.A. "Football" game was played on May 14, 1874, with Harvard hosting McGill. Since then, of course, we've split into American and Canadian Football, with some small differences between us.

Oh, and there is a lot of enthusiasm for the Women's Game here - has been for a long time in both the US and Canada. I coached and reffed women's soccer for 15 years. We're happy to be hosting the World Cup. The family and I will be off to the Big O to catch Canada vs Netherlands on Monday, and my sister-in-laws family have been taking in the games across half the country for their vacation this year.

Two Left Feet

Difficult, with a 'dance' going back to the early 1800s.

At what passed for the 'riotous' family get-togethers of my childhood, I loathed it when some fool found the record, put it on and the grown-ups all went bonkers.

It will probably only be a few more years and the newest generation of kids will be complaining in like fashion about how "all the old farts at the family reunion went crazy when someone started playing disco songs."

Old people doing Y~M~C~A

And we won't care what they think...will we? :D
