It will probably only be a few more years and the newest generation of kids will be complaining in like fashion about how "all the old farts at the family reunion went crazy when someone started playing disco songs."

Old people doing Y~M~C~A

And we won't care what they think...will we? :D

Ah. Physical jerks (PT) for the over somethings. . .

Nope, we certainly won't!

Agreed

The freedom of fifty-plus!

At 60 plus it's even better!

Only one free checked bag per flight. Additional mental baggage is subject to surcharges by weight and size.

It's funny how the TSA can miss guns, knives, etc.(67 out of 70 attempts) that are being transported through security, but the check-in people know what you're carrying down to the ounce. Maybe we should have them switch personnel?

TSA is too busy frisking grandmas with knitting needles to be bothered with guns, knives, and rocket launchers.

A simple pen is a lethal weapon when inserted into an ear at the proper angle, but every other person boarding a flight has one in their shirt pocket. But God forbid you try to board a plane with a pair of nail clippers with a fold-out fingernail file. THOSE are dangerous and could be used in a hijack!

Ok, Mr.Dane, At what angle would I want to insert said pen? Hypothetically, of course!

I don't think that's what was meant by "The pen is mightier than the sword.":rose:

A cat, a rat, an elephant too,
Decided one day to visit the zoo.
But the man at the gate (who was all dressed in blue)
Said: ‘No, no, no, this never will do.
Zoos are for people with shoes and with hats.
They’re certainly not intended for rats.’
So the elephant (who was the oldest) said:
‘OK, we’ll go to the theatre instead.’

Okay...Sam obviously paid the extra $5 and bought a bag of the GOOD stuff! ;)

I hadn't heard that before. It's not bad, is it? Although the editor in me does want to tidy up the punctuation. :)

Ah yes. The downsides of being a writer. The near uncontrollable desire to correct even the most minor of errors we stumble upon. Then there is the equally seductive tease of rewriting in our heads, sentences and even entire paragraphs from a best selling author's work we are reading.

Like John Grisham needs my advice.

Thank you.
Does this mean I really CAN call myself a writer ?

Sam, I hope you mean Kenny's punctuation~! My statement was written in "southern drawl" and editing is not allowed~!

Anyone else notice the 'error' on the last line?

A woman: without her, man is nothing.

Forgive the presuption, but shouldn't that w be a capital ?

Try this classic:-

Eats shoots and leaves.
