Little trooper has survived a hellish last two months but will kick the bucket next week. We're supposed to have our first frost.

Eb and flow of the seasons... It's sad, but joyous at the same. Celebrate the bounty gathered, smile at the hardworks fruition. But be sad as the green withers away. I'm taking a break from ripping out habanero plants right now.

The maple trees are absolutely peaked out right here and right now in New Jersey. Red, bright orange.

Norway maples still have a way to go.

The oaks are beautiful, dark red. It is truly been a gorgeous, although very dry fall.

We still have a number of late blooming perennials. Astors and Montauk daisies. And into some extent, Black eyed Susans are still going strong.

Montauk daisies are very easy to propagate. Take cuts and rooting hormone and you will have them everywhere!!

I don’t love the days getting darker earlier, but they do make for some fantastic sunsets!!
