Funny, I've been thinking about the body piercings and I've come to realize that after my marriage of 17 years to a very wild woman I think I'm of two minds. Mind one still thinks its a cool "toy" while mind two is ready for something much more traditional.

GG, what is "measurable snow"? Do we have that here?

As for drinking, I do drink much anymore either but I don't see myself giving it up... I mean after all I already gave up smoking, drugs and coffee, tea and cola's! I do very much need one vice!

Frog.....you have this talent for making me think. Its a good thing. The one I have now was done somewhat for spite and somewhat as a statement of independence. I don't regret it, it was right at that point in my life. I had wanted a few others but now I look at that wish and analyze it, there is no logic to it, it fit with where I was when I was wishing it but now I have moved from that place. I suppose like you and several others something more tradtional is more appealing. Now I'm realizing that I don't need the extremes, but rather just to be comfortable in the feeling that I am at peace with the one I am with, loved, wanted, cared for and about, and that the person I am with can comfortably receive those things and more from me without feeling some loss to his masculinity.

As for measureable snow......down here if one person sees two flakes they close the schools and everything else. It amuses me to no end.

Kayte....its funny when you look back and wonder why you did what you did? When you look back from the vantage point of the strength you have gained you marvel at your past weakness but underneath that weakness was the strength you have today or you would still be where you were then, you would not have moved forward. I just love circular logic.

Irish....that means I don't get to wear the jacket since it has to stay up there.

It does take personal strength and confidence in yourself to be able to give away control, it takes trust to acknowledge that you will be okay and it takes respect to know you are safe.

As for moving on to something more bold......when is it too much? When do you realize that no amount of pushing the envelope makes any difference in the amount of love and caring, just because I am willing to allow you to leave bruises, make me bleed, or whatever else it does not mean that you love me more. Thats what I question at least.
