Good afternoon all ya'll wonderful wishing you were in the south were the weather is delightful people.

How is everyone's afternoon going?

That kringle looks interesting, I'm trying to figure what it comes close to from down here.

But then have ya'll had fried pies? Those are yummy.

Maybe I'll have to ship some.

I doubt you have kringle unless there is a colony of Danish settlers in the area.

The best ones are the ones made by the little older ladies, the ones who stand in their kitches with an apron over their Sunday dress and pearls swinging, flour up to their elbows and a line of pies drying on paper.

Those things are heavenly.

Just getting back on-line after the move... what a complete pain in the ass that was!!! Arrived at the new house to find a flooded basement, no DSL, etc. etc. etc... It will take weeks just to get this fixer-upper habitable!

Now, what have I missed?

Froggy I can relate to the house ordeal as well.. I bought the one i live in now for 5K and have worked and worked on it. Soon I will be able to sell for 60K and never did have to pay rent.. so the work was worth it.. Or will be.. Am thinking of becoming a true southerner again tho... Perhaps TX or AR.. not all the way down to the deep south..but close enought to visit...

I'm sorry. I tend to spend time awake that I should be asleep but if I were asleep I wouldn't be talking with you and that would suck so I stay awake and talk to you and then cuss the next day when I'm sleepy cause I stayed awake talking to you rather than sleeping and then when I finally get to see you I'm so tired from staying awake talking to you I go to sleep.

Irish ~ Yes the food may be different at times. Since I can still eat at Mom's I think I will survive for a bit. I have noticed they do like fried okra down here. Is there anything else?
