I have lived in Southern Bavaria and in Frankfurt...and while I was there, I spent alot of time driving around, taking in the beautiful sights and just enjoying life there. I love the people, the food, the scenery...what's not to love? Bent said:Hi! Thanks

Thanks, hon. I really enjoyed the Return of the King...it's as good as you said it was. The mushy parts were great.
Wonder how those elves and dwarves sounded with German accents. Perhaps they'd be right at home with your folklore.

I really enjoyed the architecture on my trip to Frankfurt. I loved the mix of modern and old buildings on just about any street I walked, not to mention all the statues. Walking around the Romer Platz (yes, I'm missing my li'l thingies over the 'o') felt like being in another world for me.
And I'd never been in such a big train station!

I really enjoyed it there...yes, its pretty much commercialized Christmas but where else can you see an 8 ft tall Steif bear? I think Nuernberg was the first one I went to...but I'm not positive.
