Nice to have you aboard, BigD

Ex Semi pro footballers and ex army are very welcome.

I've never been to Idar-Oberstein myself and never knew they have a football team there. 5'11, 245 sounds like you played offense.

NCO ?

And yes, I'd consider that a degree.

:)

Now I'm wondering what might come out of you if both SexyWench and I start tickling you.

Hi Sexy...nice to see you, as always.:rose:

*shudders*

Packing is when I find all those things I thought I'd lost and all those things I wish I'd thrown away.

Hope you've got lots of boxes.

I chased a mouse into my sons closet the other day. Seems he'd been nibbling on the Snyder's Pretzel Bits that somehow accumulated there.

It was garlic.

I found the honey mustard (my favorite) under the couch cushions....aaagggghhh!!!!

:D

Too bad my vacume cleaner belt broke today. It might have been a Snyder's overload.

Hey...

Since Snyder's is from Hanover why do they spell it Hannover?

That Hanover is in Pennsylvania, right ? Like other Hanovers all over the world they use the version from the days when the King of Hanover Georg (guess it was #5) was as well the King of the UK. That's probably why all the other towns and cities adopt their name from the original Hanover.

The German language went through some changes throughout the ages and they changed the scripture and pronounciation of thousands of words.

And that made my "original" Hanover to Hannover

Must be quite a few kings from Hanover.:D

I guess pretzels are pretty American. At least the hard ones. Of course like many great things they were invented by accident when the baker accidentally baked his pretzels for a second time and found they were good that way.

I looked up pretzel history and found the original pretiola actually came from S. France/N. Italy to begin with and symbolize good luck. I hear they're popular in beer gardens.

But of course you wouldn't know about that.;)

If we were still a Kingdom, Prince Ernst August von Hannover, would be our actual king. He's married to Caroline, Princess of Monaco, eldest daughter of Gracia Patricia, Princess of Monaco. You probably remember her under her name Grace Kelly ... so you see how international we are .... ;)

Next time you're here you'd try one of those pretzels they sell in our beer gardens :D

Are they soft pretzels or hard ones?

I'm kind of used to hard ones but I could eat a soft one, too.
