God! I never get comments! Well, my first story has twelve, the next story has five chapters and the highest number of comments is six. Sigh. They do have the red hot H beside them and I am so happy about that but I would really love more comments. Hate or love it, I don't care. Tell what you like or don't about it.

Comments are fun, even the negative ones. I had one story with 150 comments. A few in the 80's. Loving Wives and incest seem to bring commenters out of the woodwork. A lot of times they will argue with each other. I Still like you A/V.

My scores go up and down but I would really love to have the comments, good or bad.

Not a great start on my story's voting so far, hopefully it's just the troll contingent marching through.

I'm still trying to finish my first one in time *sigh*

Changed my start time at work to two and half hours earlier, which means I have just enough time to put the young one on the bus and drive 70 to make it to work on time. I'm getting about two hours of sleep a day, and that's not conductive to anything.

Close to the end of it now, so I might make it. My editor puts everything else down to go through mine when I finally get him something new. So much for the other two ideas I had, though

Anybody willing to do a quick first-read/impression on mine before I send it off to the editor? No need for major nuts and bolts, just knee-jerk-reaction.

FF sex, 10k words, ancient sex toys, set in Egypt's Valley of the Queens ( in a parallel universe, because I play fast and loose with the timelines and legends quite a bit, while trying to keep it plausible )

Contests are a great way for virgins to get their feet wet, but there are some out there who will vote you down just because you're new. Don't worry about it; there's bound to be a sweep here pretty soon, especially as we get down to the wire.

It's been interesting to see how my single entry has been going so far. I think this is the first time I haven't had an 'H' right away. The score's coming up, though, bit by bit. Maybe a sweep will help me out, maybe it won't.

I'm hoping I'll have another story to submit. We've still got a few days before it closes . . . .

Yeah there are some really good stories out there. I've found a nice troll brigade, it's fine when you know they will be swept eventually.

That is actually quite difficult to define, since ghosts, demons, witches the devil, asf also appear to be accommodated in NonHuman or Sci/Fi/Fantasy even.

I would say everything scary, but then again I suppose writing about my heating bill wouldn't really fit into that category despite that definition. Additionally, psycho killers might qualify for Erotic Horror also, unless it is snuff, in which case it would be rejected anyway.

I'm not even going to try to figure out the voting. It is tough, though I would hardly say discerning. When I checked a few days ago, the stories that I thought were technically the best stories had low scores. Stories that are riddled with grammatical errors and have comments criticizing elements of the storyline had H's. So, I have no clue what is going on with the voting.

Truly, I'm flattered by all of those readers who continue to give each and every one of my stories a low and undeserving score.

Are they that afraid of me? Do they think my writing is that good? Why am I so hated on this board?

Why can't they, for once, allow me a chance to honestly compete in a contest?

I don't bash the stories of others. I don't single out writers and give them low scores. There have been plenty of contest stories in the past that I have given a 5 vote to those competing, only not to receive a favorable reciprocating comment or vote back on any of my stories. Now, I don't bother reading anyone's story. I don't vote on any one's stories. Yet, still, I'm bashed unmercifully.

There will be those who will accuse me of whinning. This isn't whinning. This is just my experienced observation into the minds of those who had severe mental problems.

Am I a bad person that I don't have feelings? Am I such a terrible writer that I deserve all the low scores and bashing comments that I receive?

Are those who single me out so mean spiritedly and so fucked up emotionally that they can't help themselves from lashing out on anyone who they feel may have a better chance at winning this little contest and take the $150 away from them?

I'll tell you what. If you give me a chance to win or lose on my own merit without giving me a low score, if I win, I'll give you the money. Just tell me who you are and I'll write you a check.

Unbelievable...

Truly, they need a better way to score these contests.
