The official announcement is on the front page of Literotica!

The starting gun has been fired.

Write! Edit! Get ready to post!

This would be my very first contest entry. I am a huge fan of Halloween, so I think I'll give it a shot. :)

i think mine will be set in old ireland, during the festival of samhain, i wonder if that will fly?

It should.

If it's got any ghost, witch or "scary" theme whatsoever, I'm sure it won't be a problem. :)

Personally, I won't even throw my hat in the ring. I'll just fail miserably to produce something, like always.

Bump back to page 1.

Now that the contest has been announced, it is possible to submit entries with a note "Please do not post until start of contest".

Please remember to add "Halloween Contest 2008" as well.

Yay, done just that (all three of them), so now all I have to do is wait until the contest and compulsive score checking begins ...:D

i still have lots to write before mine is done (and then i have to find an editor and that stuff)... well from tomorrow afternoon i should have more time to work on it though.

I have two sex scenes in mine. One is 15 seconds long, the other is about a minute. (I'm really into realism.)

I've been thinking about writing a second story, but then I'd be losing twice...

I'm trying to write the sequel to Miranda the Witch.

That was 8 Lit pages long. I don't think I'll finish the sequel before this year's Halloween contest.

However I have already written one contest entry as Og and Jeanne is about a third of the way through hers.

Maybe Fag-Ash Lil might break into writing mode as well.

(I hope that Fag-Ash Lil doesn't - her usual form of communication has too many <expletives deleted> for comfort.)

I may use an element of my story idea for NaNoWriMo. This could be a test of the plausability of the concept (since it involves ghosts). The novel is not likely to have sex in it, but my goal isn't to do a flash version of the novel. I just want to get feedback on the concept.

I know the start point and the endpoint of mine, but the story keeps wanting to do rewinds in the middle to get from A->B. Think I finally have it nailed down, and now I'm too tired to write

Have the day off tomorrow, so maybe... Probably give a shot at putting some of my second idea on paper too.

computer isn't working, so i have a good excuse not to write. of course, i could do that in an internet cafe, have the USB stick even with me... but then again... who can concentrate in an internet cafe...

I'm ready to post. However, being a generally non-competative sort, any finishing place in the middle of the vote count will be fine with me. I'm really in it for the comments. Hope everyone is amused.

I think they will be. ;)

Oh good.

*General notice: Lynn edited it for me so she should know. My thanx to her for it, to Elianna for review and Stella for encouragement.*

Oh oh. If there are any errors they'll know I'm the one that missed them.

You're welcome. ;)

I just finished my first draft, and have ten days to polish the story up until it can contend for the last place (tm) award. :D

It's something of a throwback to my earlier stories on this site. It's written in the first person, and there is no plot to speak of, just me and my "lady friend" cavorting, although there are a few quirks included. It's in the EH category, because there is a ghost in it, but it's more fun than scarey. :D

Believe me, Miss Lynn doesn't make errors but corrects a lot of the ones I make. She's an excellecnt editor, and friend.

I seriously thinking about writing one. Waiting for something to click in my head. haha I wrote two for 2006 and three for 2007 I think, LOL. I keep getting a vision of Santa Clause. humm, wonder what that could be. I better sleep on it.

Hey Miss Lynn, If I write it, will you edit it?
DG

k, i am done for now. now i gotta go through it though, add a lot of stuff i left out because i didn't feel up to writing it just then... but well, a first version is done.

and i am going to need an editor soon... the one that edited my last stories isn't home just now... would anyone here like to edit my story?

Yet another scary bump.

The official start date is only a few days away.
