Thanks for the info... I like the Lee Precision Classic Turret Press Kit from Amazon for just over $200. That will work for the 9mm and .44.
As for the shotgun, I do shoot at least 4 rounds of skeet at each outing... often more. BTW, just bought the Beretta a300... fit my budget nicely. The 600 JR Mark V looks good... I buy "Estate" 2 3/4 bt $5 - $6 a box of 25, from Bi Mart here in Oregon... no break for case lots... don't know what the savings would be... still investigating.
I have a MEC 600, and it's a lot of fun to use, just a little slow. With 12g birdshot being so cheap, I'd probably recommend only using it for buckshot.
Unless you're going to shoot thousands of rounds of .44 mag, a single stage press is probably adequate for what you're doing. But if you're considering loading 9mm as well, then a multi-stage is definitely worth considering.
I would personally suggest starting cheap/small, and seeing how you like it before investing $700-800 in a nice multi-stage.
