How Attractive Are You?

CD, I can't judge your personality well (yet), but judging from the half-portrait you're a very handsome man.

I don't know what the intent was here but I think this thread is stupid. I would not ask this question of my best friends.

(Really, I don't mean to be rude, just frank.)

Hi Perditia,

Sorry you think this thread is stupid (though it probably is), but I can assure you that the intent here is just to have a bit of fun. See how people think about their looks, hopefully in a positive and jokey way.

Of course, I'll be keeping an eye out for the drop-dead gorgeous people here, so that I might be reflected in their glory.

Nice to see so many people from the UK here (and fans of The Streets, too -- we have such impeccable taste!). We should all get together and make sexy omelettes. I'll supply the cheese.

Aesthetically, rather than personality-wise (cause we're all full of inner-beauty, aren't we?). Are you a looker? Do you rate a 'ten'? Do you have the opposite sex drooling after you? I'm shallow, and I need to know...

...how that would feel.

Affirmation. (An average-looking guy with an average mind and a mediocre body. But I cook a mean omelette).

I don't know. What do you think?

i'm decent looking i guess depends on what mood i'm in. Been told that i'm cute by the ladies but i dont date much so i dont know.

I've always thought I'm mister average, and have no desire to change that opinion. I've never actually thought of myself as handsome, but I've been called that in the past. I suppose it's all objective really, just because someone says you're handsome/ugly doesn't make it so. I'm comfortable with my looks, but if I had the money I would get a nose job. I've always hated my nose.

Carl, someone that is comfortable with their looks is usually pretty confident. And confidence is sexy!!!

I'm cuter now than I was ten years ago, and I think it's because sex is better...I don't think anyone drools, but I do get my share of obscene tongue gestures from truck drivers when I leave the gym wearing a HEAD bra-top.

:D

I'm fairly satisfied with my face--my body, not so much. Wish I had the one I had in '73, and had worked out then as much as I do now.

I have, unfortunately, reached the age at which women frequently become invisible.

So are you saying that you don't need a hand job then?

Only to the truly blind or gormless...besides we can still be heard!
:)

PS Get hold of a copy of Betsy Prioleau's "Seductress" and rejoice in some unconventionally "beautiful" and powerful women.

Hmmm, superficiality, the affirmation that looks matter so much more than anything else...huzzah!

Am I a stunner? Nah. Am I good-looking? Probably Not. Am I average? Possibly. Am I hideously ugly? Could be, dunno. Have I actually seen somebody burst into flames at the sight of my hideous form? Not that I'm aware of, so I'd call that good enough.

Honestly though, what the fuck is with everyone's obsession with this beauty quotient. I've never been interested in any so-called "stunner", not even in a crush capacity. Real people with that (what's that word, oh yes) peronality thing, are so much more attractive. Or maybe I just say that because when I was growing up, half my school was those annoying blonde surfer boys and girls who had the minds of dried peanuts.

Watcha mean Gauche? :)

*grin* i dunno ...what gormless means..

if i say i dont believe in outer asthetics, people would probabaly think that i say that because im dog ugly.. i dont think that i am but to some extent the issue is important. to the average joe, im pretty conservative and i probably wouldnt turn a head in traffic unless i was involved in an accident.

confidence makes a huge difference, i agree. i suppose what i am saying is..... if you see me walking down the street.. give a whistle..(lips, pucker, blow; three easy steps) itll make my day.. just dont call me ma'am. ;)
