You need to have made more than 100 posts to the forum I believe....

That's right, after 100 posts you can add an avatar. You will also notice that your status/title will change from virgin to experienced and further until you reach 1000 posts and then you can create your own title

1-29 - Virgin
30-99 - Experienced
100-299 - Really experienced
300-499 - Really Really Experienced
500-999 - Literotica Guru
1000+ - Custom Title

Speaking of avatars, I'm trying to use a snippet of a photo as my AIM buddy icon. I've made it the right size (64x64), but I cannot get the damned thing compressed small enough. It ends up being 1 or 2 KB bigger than it's supposed to be. I don't have top-of-the-line PhotoShop, but do have Paint, Microsoft Office Picture Manager, Adobe PhotoShop Album Starter Edition 3.0 and a trial version of Jasc Pant Shop. I've compressed it for e-mail in Picture Manager, but it still won't compress smaller than 8KB.

While you are waiting to get all of your 100 posts.... you can always post a picture on your profile. That's what I did..... as you can see I still have about 50 to go.

Of course PSP and Photoshop and such programs do the job fine. However, there is this program/software that is called Irfanview; it works perfect, is easy to use (without the PSP/Photoshop skills/knowledge) and is free software. You can download it from here ....

You and me both! I thought the first 100 were hard, this 1,000 thing is damned near impossible for those of us who don't roll play and cruise the other areas of the boards.
