I do agree with you!I was almost right in the middle and it was very expensive.I would go there and just tour around if you can. Also a roomate is a good idea if you are needing to cut down on the cost. You have friends there did you say SINN?Why not stay with them?

Hi, Nikki... :)

Having grown up in New York I love to visit the city but really enjoy my country living. I am about a hour and a half to Boston amd an hour to New York City. Yet I can enjoy the babbling brooks, the rolling hills, and watch a deer casually strolling across a open field. Some of them so friendly I truly think they would eat out of your hand. I enjoy the raccoons and foxes. The owls and the doves. I enjoy having friend over and can relax in the yard over a decandent BBQ. I can visit the night life when every I want and leave when ever I want... ;) The cost of living is moderate. Yet very affordable even for just one. There are cheaper areas not to far away from me but also run down.

Yepper, I can even sleep with the windows and doors unlocked and wide open... That in itself says it all... :D

Grafton is only about 15 miles from here .

Hi all - I hail from north central CT, where Mother Nature can't seem to make up her mind in the "should it rain or should it snow" debate today. So far, we've got both LOL.

Delightful to discover others from my happy little corner of the world - nice to meet y'all!

We eventually got freezing rain and a few VERY wet snowflakes. Hope you're staying toasty warm :)

Springvale, Maine here Dragonhearted....hope your doing well. Someday soon I'll get a day off to play....thanks for bumping up this thread for all that live in New England.

I can name a few things that would get me (and you) through a gloomy rainy day...

A snuggly bed...under covers...and exploring the dark crevices.
