I like this one today.. and tomorrow probably too.. and it's circulating in the political world, but I've felt this way for a very long time..

"I am a badass believer in human rights. My toughness is my tenderness. My strength is in the service of others. There is nothing more fierce than formidable, unconditional love. There is nothing more courageous than compassion."

"When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace"

"It doesn't matter what you look like. You can be tall or short, or fat or thin, or ugly or handsome, or you can be black or yellow or white. It doesn't matter. What does matter is the size of your heart and the strength of your character." ~ H. Munster

These should be the basic rules of one's life.

" Laugh much. Be free.
Love a lot. Be kind.
Listen well. Be supportive.
Live life.
Be YOU."

I was listening to this one judge that one
as if imperfection was an uncommon atrocity
instead of a precious landmark

I met my wife in 1956. We married in 1958. She often said "I love you." She'd get upset when I didn't say "I love you" in return as often.
I was young. I had no idea what love really was even though we married and got along.
When she nearly died during convolsions giving birth to our first son I realized I do love her.
She's been pronounced dead two more times and I died once in ICU.
Not a day goes by that I don't tell my wife "I love you"

:heart:We need each other now more than ever.

"Dont let love become something you look for- Let love be something you become"...:heart::heart:

Cold is the water
It freezes your already cold mind
And death is at your doorstep
And it will steal your innocence
But it will not steal your substance

But you are not alone in this
And you are not alone in this
As brothers we will stand and we will hold your hand
Hold your hand..

(mumford & sons)

That reminds me of the quote on my parent's grave..
"I love you more than yesterday but less than tomorrow."

it's how they signed every card to each other

I'd be joyful if I was laughing while I was playing at tickling you... ;) :)

I enjoy watching people in everyday habitats. Yesterday, I was walking through the hospital parking lot and saw this large man walking behind 3 young boys, each a little taller than the one in front of him. He looked worried, the man. The children, oblivious to the stress that comes with hospitalization, moved with this joy that I think escapes us by adulthood. Their faces moved back and forth as if they could actually absorb the warmth of the sun. Their arms played with the breeze.

Maybe that's why we hold children. Maybe we think that we can capture some of that ease and become light in our own being.

Hug a child today.. and if you can't hug a child, hug as if you are one. :rose:
