Can you imagine back then, we would go from a slide rule, to a hand held calculator, a personal computer, and now a hand held PC that makes phone calls too. I am amazed!

I remember (haha) math teachers tell us. “It’s not like you’ll be walking around with a calculator.” They sure missed that one.

Johnny Cash show: this was a good one. Have some vague recollections of watching it.

Sonny and Cher. When they got divorced, it seem like my own parents got divorced. Seemed devastating.

Donny and Marie: I’m embarrassed to say I really enjoyed this when I was a kid. She was a little bit country, he was a little bit rock n roll.

I also remember reruns of the Smothers Brothers show.

Glen Campbell show. My mom had such a celebrity crush on him and Teddy Pendergast (both RIP). I think that’s why my dad hated it so much.

She Na Na - I never liked this show, but my dad loved it. “It’s when rock n roll was really good.”

I grew up in Michigan until I was 10. There were never snow days that shut down school. Moved to Oregon.. an inch of snow shuts down the whole state, lol

Yes! Me too! I tried going to one as an adult. Slipped and fell backwards. Took the skates off, never put any back on. I remember Renting skates was a crap shoot.
