GORGEOUS rida!

Thank you :)

They are very easy to do. You'd love all the nail art accessories they sell over here! It makes it so easy that even I can do it.

Next step, as soon as it gets to be bare feet season are french nails pedicure :D

French pedicures are HOT. The ultimate in pampered barbie girl looks. I love it!

Your nails look great, though, I'm not kidding. You should make youtube videos.

I can't see one of those fancy nail jobs without wondering what they'd feel like lightly scratching my perineum.

Rida, those are soooooo pretty.

I want to wear a skirt and heels today but it's supposed to be all rainy. :(

I hardly ever deal with my hands...

hardly ever worry about a manicure. However when I decide that I need to feel girly, I spend upwards of an hour giving myself a pedi. For some odd reason, painting my toenails and adding a toe ring or an anklet makes me feel majorly cute.:D

When I have my nails done, I don't bite. When they aren't done, I chew them down to the bloody quick, and I'm not kidding. It's fucking disgusting. The worst habit I have.

I want these nails....so bad.

They're not as strong as acrylic or gel nails, natch.

However, they are stronger than bare nails with nothing on them.

I could never function with those nails, but they ARE beautiful.
Since I play guitar, I stay with the shorter version of the French manicure. I love the simple, white tipped look. Polish is way too much work for me. Just tried the French manicure for toes last summer, and I must say, after I got used to them, I really liked the look! I usually just use tan polish in the summer, again the convenience factor.

Now if I could just get these damn eyelashes to stay on straight!

(Love your new av, Satin ~ very pretty!)

Oh, thank you sweetie!

If you need help with those lashes I can give you some pointers, just lemme know. I wear mine to death.

ETA: I fell asleep last night still wearing mine >_<; thank God I didn't ruin them by crushing them with a pillow or the big stuffed lamb I sleep with. O_O

Oh, sweetie, I will HOOK YOU UP. Let me get some info together and I'll post it up here in a second with everything you need to know about silk wraps and etc.

In the meantime, lust after these Tokyo-style nails.

I'm hoping they're gonna catch on in the US. I am DYING to go to a salon and get my nails done like these!

Wow. You'd have to have seriously long fingers to pull those off. *covet*

I, by the way, don't have long fingers. My ten year old has bigger hands than me.

I want to get fake nails, but I can't get the regular acrylic ones cause they ALWAYS fall of in two days.

As soon as I get the money I'm going to get those new gel nails. My best friend has those and they look great. She loves them.

And I was SO amused to get online and see everyone talking about pedicures. I'm about halfway through one. I soaked my feet in Epsom salts and took the pumas stone to my callouses and dead skin and pushed back my cuticles. (Wow, I spelled callouses right the first time!) I'm gonna get some stuff done around the house, then trim my nails and file them and paint them.

Red, most likely. It's my favorite color (and half my clothing is red). :D

I can't do all that nail stuff. The more I decorate my nails, the more they fall off and break.

I keep them clean. I buff them sometimes. I keep them from grabbing at my clothes with sharp edges. They tend to be long but NOT pointed as that bothers me visually. I think they are more flexible and less prone to breaking with no polish on them.

I don't paint my finger nails cause I HATE the look of chipped nail polish, and unless I sit around doing nothing (NOT GONNA HAPPEN) they chip in the first day. That's why my friend likes the gel nails. The color is IN the nail, not on the top of it so the pain doesn't chip and they always look good. (She's a bar tender, always has her hands in bleach water, so chipped nail polish happens A LOT.)

Yep, same here.

I think I've had two manicures in my life and no pedicures. People messing with my feets? Noooo!

I've never HAD a pedicure. I give them to myself. I also do my own manicures, but that just involves basic skin and nail care.

I love pedicures. I dont get them in the winter but I will be starting them up again next weekend.

Very purdy nails, Rida

Exactly. I'm frugal with myself. Plus, I really don't like people doing things for me that I can do well for myself.

:rose:

Oh, and speaking of pretty. I've got an appointment to have K's step sister do my hair. She's spendy (with family discount I'll pay between 80 and 100 dollars), but she's REALLY good. I always look awesome when I'm done.

Yes, puleeeeze! *clasps hands together pleadingly* PM me if you want to!

What is the best way to align them, without getting glue in your eyeball?
(and they seem to srart peeling off after about 1/2 an hour!)

Thanks, sweetie!
