Hey, was yesterday beautiful or what? I had a rehearsal for our party....cooked out, listened to music ...was in a silly mood, listened to Frank Sinatra...a little Mack The Knife....some wine, some good food. It was fun. Not quite warm enough for swimming yet though.

Oops some one will get in trouble today. I have been checking to see where everyone that has internet access here at has been going. Shame shame shame, Someone has been visiting Porn sites. Ok! should I just warn them or write them up. Me thinks it is this persons first time doing this.
I will let all of you decide what I do to this person. One thing I don't do is fire on the first infraction of this kind.

I just went out and with an exturnal Harddrive. I am making an miror image of their harddive. I will check it, to see just what they have been doing.
I don't mind if they chat with others. Hell I do it, But I do not allow pron here at work. That is what they have a computer at home for.
I mean come on I allow ICQ, AOL, MSN, Yahoo, All kinds of chat software here at work. All I ask is that they do their job, and not visit pron sites.

Pron sites? What do you have against really big shrimp? (I know it's not spelled right that way either, but at least my way they are homophones)

So what did you do, or did you do anything yet? I would be inclined to give the person a chance to come clean. If they don't, write them up with some sort of official reprimand.

If they deny, then make it clear that they are short timing it. They can go with a letter of reference or without, but their career with you won't ammount to much. But that is only if they deny.

Just a neighbor saying hi and good luck. We've got at least one person who has posted on the Chicago thread who is from Peoria and another from Bloomington.

Just found this thread, and hope I'm welcome here. I was born in Granite City and lived in Mason City (little town between Peoria and Springfield)


And no, we did not consider Chicago part of the state!!!

Damn!! I'm glad you I just checked your profile and found out that you are 32. One of my worst nightmares is for some 19- 25 y/o kid showing up on my doorstep and telling me that they are JAM Jr and that I'm their daddy!!!! Phewwww!!!!
