Grew up near Terre Haute in God's Country!

I lived in Hamilton till I was 8 then we moved to Tennessee... we moved back to Indiana when I was 16 and lived in Avilla. Now I've lived in Auburn, Ashley, Elkart, and now Albion.

It's starting to look like it - or at least the only ones around. I did a search on Indiana. It was funny how many threads were started and either didn't have any responses or a very few.

Think Indiana people are just too conservative?

I did a search a while back to and picked this one to visit. Perhaps... did you ever live any where besides Indiana... perhaps another state corrupted us and that is why we are here? I lived in Tennessee for 8 years... there's back woods stuff going on down there all the time

Sadly no, I have always lived in Indiana.

I have visited many other states though. Perhaps that is the basis of my corruption.

I have visited most all of the southern states.

I was in Louisiana all last week on vacation.

Going to Memphis in February.

Ohio and Texas in March.

I have traveled around the northern and southern states alot, only a bit on the east coast and never in the west.

I would really like to make it overseas. Too bad I have a fear of flying. Well, not so much the flying part as much as the getting out of the seat part. Hard to be in the air 20+ hrs and not have to go to the bathroom!

I would like that too... Mine is the fear of flying, but I'd do it to meet some of the gentlemen from the UK and I'd even get up and use the restroom on the plane if I had to

I haven't flown since I was 9 and it was a little commuter plane. Other than that I flew in a commercial jet when I was 5.

I've lived in Chicago, spent lots of time in TN and TX too. I must say that there's something about those southern women. Maybe it's the accents. That and the usually warmer weather allows them to wear less clothes for larger parts of the year. The Indiana and Chicago winters that require five layers of clothing/coats/scarves/gloves, etc. to stay warm leave too much to the imagination.
