Are you actually from Des Moines...Southsider? Or are you from one of the frustrating "suburbs" that you don't realize that you are even in until the damn street name changes mid-block?

I lived in an apartment complex off of Office Park Road and worked at the Southside Chi-Chi's.

I come back every year for the state fair....and to go to Adventureland!

I appreciate any time a woman with family and obligations can scrape together to chat with us online. It is a pleasure to speak with one of the fairer sex. I know that I have more time than most married women have, but then I am a bachelor I would hesitate to guess, but there are probably a greater percentage of women with family, whether childeren or husbands, than men with family.

I currently (lol...the last 11 years) live near Cedar Rapids in a smaller "bedroom" community.
I don't know about how many married/children women hang out here, but on the chat area I chat with a lot of married/children guys who are on-line without their spouse knowing about it. Before I started chatting/posting I talked with my husband to make sure he was ok with it. I really love him and wanted him to be comfortable with me talking with other men. I'd never cheat on him, but it's fun to get a man's perspective on things. I've met some very interesting types here.

I can deal with most weather mishaps, but HELLO???? It's the first part of January and it's 60 degrees, storming this morning, and a tornado warning! What the heck is going on with this weather?!?!?
