I'm back
And I'm back from my week (mostly) off. My first new thread is up, along with a new one from Bill Pratt. I've got a few more in the pipeline for this weekend, although a few are being recalcitrant in editing.
Come by and have a look, and maybe leave feedback/a reply here on the forums/a new thread or two! If you're impatient for a storyline to continue or don't like where they have gone, get in the ring and give us a continuation!

Memento line
The memento storyline is not turning out as interesting as I had envisioned. I'm finding it necessary to repeat conversations about his condition too often in order to maintain my sense of reality about it (if you had someone with no memory about having no memory, you would have to constantly remind him about his memory), and it's taking forever to get through things. I feel like I've gotten bogged down in details and am not progessing.
Does anyone have nay suggestions on how I might tighten this thing up? Perchance do other people not share my opinion of this line?

How about a challenge to see who can add the most (quality) chapters over this weekend? I say quality, though, not quick bangouts that do nothing. Anybody interested?

Good thing no one took me up on that thread off. Due to circumstance beyond my control, I have extremely limited Internet access right now. I'm still going to try to put up something, but I won't have my normal access back until Tuesday.
Correction: I think Catfish27 took me up on it. Sorry I only got one thread in; maybe we can try again on a weekend when I am not traveling around and suddenly discover that the net access at my destination is not at all what I thought it would be.

Thread Trading
I'm thread trading with menoetes on "An Open Mind". I'm quite amenable to thread trades; my only big restriction is that I do not do rape or gay content, and I much prefer mind control settings, but I could try branching out there.

Just wanted to let you know how much I am loving "John Almighty". Don't get discouraged because the story isn't updated everyday by others (including myself). There are definitely people out there reading.
The only reason I haven't posted more often is that I take writing very seriously and find it difficult to shoot out quick entries.
I have a million ideas on where to take "John Almighty" ... trust me, the entries will come.
Keep up the great work! I'm very interested in your "Life Is But A Dream" thread and hope you will continue it.

I'm actually going to jump "life is but a dream" forward down the timeline a bit, because I feel the opening scene is getting too drawn out, and I am running out of ways to describe four people in a shower. I challenge someone to finish up that scene and keep it good. If you want to see how I was going to continue it originally, then leave me a break when John leaves the bathroom and have the girls stay behind to clean up.
If anybody wants to extend the scene and have me follow up on it immediately, post it by Sunday and I'll see what I can do. If I think of something to continue it without the jump, I'll post it, but it's not likely. I'm going to try and write things so anyone who ends on my above conditions can then link forward to my continuation without issues.

Yeah, just happened to have a couple of ideas at the "right" time. Can't say when inspiration will strike again, though...
Ok, I've posted up a few more threads. I ended up with one more thread to round out the bathroom scene. I made the next thread vague enough that if anyone wants to come back and write the sex scenes for the girls; you can always link back to the next chapter to hook into that storyline.
I left 2 good hook points for people to put in threads; I hope someone takes advantage.
Let me know what you think. Please rate me, too. After over a month there have been almost 9000 views and 14 votes? This is a bit of a disparity, no?

damn you Benjidude! You stole the direction I was going to take - but you have always been into the body-mod threads like I am..

I like it and I like where you've taken it, I'll try to add to it soon, Murakami will enjoy the addition to his story (which I kinda owe him) and I'll enjoy the fresh blood you've injected into the thread.

its one massive story, you have to dredge through a LOT of crap writing but there is gold in there too. I've found quite a bit of inspiration in there.
